During in-person or telehealth sessions, Moonaria can assist with transcription through user-initiated system audio capture, transforming clinical conversations into structured, evidence-informed documentation. Moonaria includes a privacy-first patient consent feature. Before any audio is captured, clinicians are prompted to request and confirm patient permission using a built-in consent button. Audio capture cannot begin without explicit user action and confirmed consent. Moonaria does not perform background listening, passive monitoring, or automatic recording. Captured audio and generated transcripts are used solely to support clinical documentation and are processed securely in accordance with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance standards, with end-to-end encryption and strict access controls. Audio data is never used for advertising and is not shared or sold to third parties. Moonaria is designed to support, not replace, clinical judgment.
