Description

The "Export Tabs as Text File" Chrome extension lets you quickly save the URLs of all tabs in your current Chrome window with a single click. Now with version 1.1.1, you can also import those URLs back and reopen them in normal or incognito mode. Just click the extension icon and choose: • Export Tabs as Text File — instantly saves all open tab URLs to a .txt file. • Import text file — Choose a previously saved file and reopen the tabs in the current browser or incognito mode. Important Notes: • Some tabs may not reopen such as internal or local pages • Reopened websites from text file may require you to log in again if your session has expired or the site needs you to sign in again for security reasons. instant crash on "export tabs" no error or warning

Totally agree with ... Alexey Sekirin "It downloads the list of tabs from the active window only. But Chrome can have multiple windows open." Would be greatly more valuable if... -- it would download an entire session of bookmarks, encompassing say 12 windows and each's contained tabs, in one fell swoop. -- it would add a single ruled line, or at least an empty space blank line between each https entry. Right now, everything's all just snugged up to each other, making it difficult to readily see and isolate individual tabs. Final Result ... no joy ... uninstalled.

It downloads the list of tabs from the active window only. But Chrome can have multiple windows open.

It saves 30 open tabs max. So now i have to start counting and dividing my ~120 tabs into smaller groups of 30, create separate files, then import each file to the new browser. meh it does what it says while omitting this limitation. i give it 3 stars for the effort. i guess.
