Copy Youtube Transcript

All it says is "No video id found". Won't copy transcript from any video, how do I get this to work, and how does no other review mention this.

I left a detailed 5 star review in Dec 2025. Three months later, and it feels like most of the time it tells me that there is no transcript available, while I'm looking at the actual time stamped transcript. So, one star now. I'll give it a week and then uninstall. Fantastically useful when it works. What a shame.

Thank you for this, but it doesn't work. Only extracts title.

It stopped working recently. Now it only gets the first few lines of the transcript— less than 10% of the total. Hopefully, the creator fixes that. I had used it for months without problem and liked the extension, but as of now it's broken.

It seems its a demo for payed functions. The transcript it generates contains double spaces between words.

Cant choose a particular subtitle when the video has several ones

I see what may have caused people to say the extension doesn't work, including me some time ago. Previously, when you'd copy the transcript using the extension, the full transcript would appear in the extension's popup. Now, only the first ~100 words appear there, which suggests that the whole transcript failed to copy, leading users to uninstall the extension and write a negative review. However, I discovered today that if I still proceed to paste in a document, the whole transcript does paste. This is a mistake in the user interface that the developer should fix because an interface should convey to users that an action succeeded, i.e., the whole transcript copied. It should not do the opposite.

there’s a flaw in the system — it doesn’t allow us to select the video language transcripts . hope this can be fixed as soon as possible. Thanks for your support.
