I used to love this app! Or whatever they call it. But like another user, it disappeared on Oct 16, 2025 from both computers. I have it on my phone still so the data is still there. I managed to get it on one computer (mac) by downloading the app and logging into two accounts. I have no idea why it worked and when I tried to do it on the laptop, I got it for a day and then I tried to download the app or shortcut, and boom, lost all data again. So weird. I have also shut down, updated, and send myself links and tried to share. But on the laptop it's gone and I can't seem to recover it.

No longer works in Google Chrome (yes, I checked for updates for EVERYTHING, cleared cache, and restarted my Windows 11 PC). Worked 2 days ago. Still works on my Android phone and tablet, just NOT on my Windows 11 desktop using the Chrome browser. Did read some posts that Keep in the Chrome browser will be going away but have yet to confirm this.

It asked me to sign in to use but then hit me with an error 400 "Custom scheme URI not allowed. If you are a developer of Google Keep, see error details. Error 400: invalid_request"

Does not work with other browser rather than Chrome, even if it's chromium based.

Can't sign in on Edge, clicking on (sign in) on the Extension popup window doesn't open anything.

For the last 10 years, Google Keep has been my digital brain, and this Chrome extension was the key that unlocked its power directly within my browser. My entire learning process is built around it: I discover, I learn, and I add my thoughts to a running note for that specific page. It was a perfect system. However, I'm heartbroken to say that a major bug has completely shattered this workflow. Instead of opening my existing note for a page, the extension now creates a new, blank note with every single click. The ability to build upon my notes progressively is gone. What was once an essential tool is now a source of deep frustration. I believe in the excellence of the Keep platform, and I know it's worth 5 stars. My low rating is a desperate plea to the developers: please fix this. I am eagerly waiting to return and change my rating back to five stars as soon as I can once again build my knowledge base with this wonderful tool.

Useless and garbage, nothing is working. Should be removed out of here.

Right-click 'Save to Keep' function is greyed-out. So, it's pointless.

Extension does not work (it prompts you to sign in and then won't let you). You can right click to go to the Keep website, but that's what bookmarks are for--not extensions (keep.google.com)

Quoting another review from Jason J because not enough people are seeing this trick to making this stupid extension work! ― "So this app technically works, as long you don't left click on the google keep icon. You have to right click on the icon to bring up the options then click on "go to keep" to get it to bring up your google keep. Left clicking on the google keep brings up some log in screen that doesn't work and then won't go away until you refresh the page."

broken, can't sign in. stupid extension

When i reload the page it doesn't open the last note i wrote for that page. It is just useful to create the notes but without that other feature it is not useful at all.

Extension freezes requesting login. Looking forward to fix.

Today the extension doesn't work anymore. Asks me to log in, even though I'm already logged in. "Error 400 : invalid_request". Google Keep IS my main note-taking app. Are you killing it ?

The extension ask me to sign in even though I'm signed in. And the rectangle freezes after that. When i click sing in there is an error: "Access blocked: Authorization Error Custom scheme URI not allowed. If you are a developer of Google Keep, see error details. Error 400: invalid_request" This without mentioning that keep is staying behind on features most note taking app consider standard (like markdown support or other UX/UI features). Feels like google is slowly killing the app :(

It was working fine befor but now it show this message "You must sign in to use the Google Keep Chrome Extension" even if I'm signed in!

Till today i never saw that google did some stuff that has no bugs, its completed etc

It's occasionally worked in the past, but as has been too often the case, it isn't now. Removing from Chrome.

Can't sign in with the extension in Chrome on Windows 11. Clicking the extension's icon shows its popup, but it's all dark, hard to read and clicking sign in does nothing. Popup doesn't close either unless you reload the page. When right-clicking in the text area to comment on Reddit, Keep is not listed in the right-click context menu where I can right-click and insert the note I want.

I started using Add to Sheets for Google Sheets (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/add-to-sheets-save-to-goo/hgilhmbegaanegfbcppneigcmhgoinib) as a replacement to this since it uses the sidebar and is compatible with other browsers. It works on Chrome, Brave, and Microsoft Edge.

Great idea, but doesn't work on Vivaldi, which is a chromium browser. Seems like there's something in the code that's specific to Chrome and only Chrome. Too bad; most other Chrome plugins work, and this would be really helpful.

Worked when first installed on Chrome - no longer works - have uninstalled & reinstalled several times - it works for a few days, then doesn't. Have to open Keep now and save that way. It's a shame because it was a really good idea and great for speed of workflow. Nobody at the devs will ever read this review..... so writing this for the community
