Massive activation problems. Possibly that I have a hotmail and gmail account and I purchased with hotmail address but google chrome is not allowing activation. No apparent way to fix, no Manuel license key entry. I'm an hour into trying to get it to activate. Videos and help info is almost no existant.
Do not do business with these crooks. They took my money, left me on the free plan, and offer no support to correct the issue. Total scam!
Bough a subscription yet still stuck on free. I sent an email. lets see if they reply......
Do not buy, I have purchased 3 times and says Free Plan. This app is horrible
Breaks sidebar scrolling.
Cant believe I was being charged while there was literally chatgpt toolbox free all along. I strongly suggest everyone to use that instead. SCAM.
Deleted this ChatGPT Toolbox right after downloading it. I tried saving ONE prompt (yes just one prompt) and received a pop-up saying "You have reached the limit of free prompts. Please upgrade your plan to save more prompts". Are you kidding me? I can't even save one prompt without paying?
Do not fall for this. Their “e-commerce checkout” is designed to look exactly like Stripe, but it’s actually handled by Lemon Squeezy, a third-party platform. This is not just misleading — it’s deliberate deception. They trick you into thinking you’re getting legitimate Premium access or services, when in reality nothing is delivered. I signed up thinking I was unlocking features like bulk export, unarchive, and more, only to stay on the free plan with everything still locked. No real upgrade happens. Their site and payment screen are built to fool you into trusting them. This is fraudulent behavior, and it needs to be reported. Avoid at all costs.
Can't do anything without a paid subscription
I’ve wasted so much time and money on this “extension” that it’s absurd. There’s absolutely no way to embed or edit license info—what kind of professional tool refuses the most basic compliance feature? On top of that, their “no refunds” policy is a joke; you pay, they take your cash, and you’re stuck. I’ve begged for help on their subreddit (using two different accounts!) and crickets—zero responses, zero support. Documentation is nonexistent, settings are hidden or simply don’t work, and the whole thing feels like a shabby money grab. I can’t believe they’re getting away with charging for something this broken. It’s a total rip-off—prove me wrong, but I’m not holding my breath.
Basically great idea, but implementation for some reason sucks hard. 95% of the time, the plugin just won't load, plus it keeps prompting me to upgrade, despite having bought premium. But even if it doesn't ask to upgrade again, it's just not there. Only thing that sometimes helps is closing all gpt tabs, deleting everything gpt related from the browser's cache and restarting the browser, which is extremely annoying if you have hundreds of tabs open.
Spent 10 minutes of my time to select all chats older than a certain date and delete them at once, and hit the paywall with all my might while trying to delete. Such a disgusting dark pattern - that I was not lazy to write this review. Instead of using this extension, it's better to create a browser script with ChatGPT itself, which will delete all the chats you don't want. Oh yes, and one more thing, “dear” developers of this extension - think of realizing a very simple feature: - Select one chat - Scroll down - Press Shift - Select another chat - All chats between top and bottom are also selected This is such a simple and ubiquitous UI pattern that even schoolchildren know it. But you don't. It's totally lame!
Useless
I usually don't click on ads, but came here from an FB ad, and really wanted this work. LEt's just say I was as very disappointed (not clicking on an ad again). Constant glitches, slow response times, and unnecessary refreshing. Half the time things just don’t work as expected. Nothing is intuitive, and even basic features are hidden behind a maze of unnecessary steps. Also, as others mentioned, super misleading ratings. Author clearly paid for fake reviews to bury the real reviews. Reported to Google. -- Update: After reading the author's response it's clear they are avoiding to clarify all the fake reviews they paid for. If the product is in fact as good as the author claim, why pay for so many fake reviews? Your product is not built well, but I have to admit, it's still better than your customer support! You received one negative (but real) review and instead of addressing the issues in your product, you are calling the review baseless and replying with some canned response. I think if you want your extension to actually grow and have long lasting customers, you first need to work on your customer support skills. Just my 2 cents.
Terrible and ugly user interface. Why does it have to be so complicated. Half the stuff don't work, the other half you have to pay, which is fine if I was confident they work, but I'm NOT. I wouldn’t waste my time with this. Will try the other extension I found. P.S. Tried this after seeing the 4.9/5 without looking at the reviews. Big mistake. Now that I look at the reviews they all obviously look fake!
trial feature is very limited. only two prompts can be saved. Does not let you input the saved prompts in the chatbox (at least in the trial version). Basically a storage/organization tool where you can only view and copy prompts
Looking good, but it erased all my conversations even though I chose which ones to keep. It seems like it needs some more work. I lost a lot of information.
Just says "fetching search history" and is stuck there. Doesn't ACTUALLY search for anything when I type. If developer responds I'll update review.
No any folder use before pay.
I paid for the annual membership, and now it says I'm on the free plan.
This was great up until the most recent update. The developer is charging $5/month for most functions that were previously free, even basic functions. I'm not against developers making money but this is kind of ridiculous. Some heads up would have been nice. This came out of nowhere To be clear, I'm not against people charging money for their extensions. This just seems excessive though. It seems kind of scummy to accumulate a ton of good reviews, get featured on the Chrome Web Store, strip away 95% of the functionality, and start charging for everything that was previously freely available
makes the browser super slow.
I love this , great tool. My issue is , the audio downloader suddenly disappeared. it used to go off but will appear after I refresh the Tab but it is gone this time. It is not showing again. Kindly fix it . thank you. Did you guys disable the audio download ?
Was ok but now some of the functionality is included in the baseline chatGPT UI. Other free extensions are better suited to filling the gaps.
Watched the video and was super excited. Unfortunately it's just said "Fetching history..." for over an hour without finishing. I can add a folder and nothing else--no adding of chats or search. Wanted to love it and upgrade to the full paid version if I could actually do anything.
You are WELL on your way... but definitely KEEP GOING! I too had this idea but YOU did it! Props! Thoughts: 1 - Give us the option to sort the folders (numerically, by date, alphabetically, etc...). 2 - Give us the ability to sift/sort from the chat list and drag/drop/push them into the correct folder, rather than selecting a folder and 'pulling' them in one at a time. 3 - Give us the ability to see & collapse our chats in the hierarchical structure we're creating in the browser. I'll have more... but for now... KEEP GOING! (Perhaps consult a media manager / or an assistant tv/video editor whose mind/skills would ACE this!)
