Phedra X: Revisualize & Edit Images From Web

Simply did not work for me. All I got were "Errors".

Won't generate white or pale skin people with blonde hair and here's why. The extension uploads your selected image to Google Gemini which converts it into text. Then, the extension uses the text to prompt Gemini and simulate another image which (may or may not) resemble the original.

Error. Try again in a few seconds, yer counts every fail towards 25 limit and thats for a whole month. find a better free one online, tbh this one aint worth it, but if ya loaded then sure go premium and pay... wanna enhance a image from ya computer, no chance only from online.

No matter what I do I get "Error, please try again later." I closed and reopened the browser and did all the standard troubleshooting things a person would do for this kind of thing with no success. At this point I think it's a scam. I don't think the product works, and I think it's a bait and switch scam where it offers you something then later tries to upsell you on the paid prodcut when the free prodcut doens't work as expected.

Hopefully they fix whatever is currently wrong with this product because despite hearing nothing but wonderful things about it, my experience has been quite the opposite. I just added it to Chrome not half an hour ago and was unable to get it to work on a single image. Every time I tried to use it, I got the same message, "Error. Try again in a few seconds." As infuriating as this was, what prompted me to write such a negative review is that the extension counted every failed attempt as one of my free generations. As such, in half an hour I ran through all 25 generations allotted to me for the month without actually getting a single image out of it. It's really a shame too because I was quite looking forward to using this extension after all of the praise I'd heard for it, and would even have been happy to pay for premium if it actually worked. If someone from the dev team wants to contact me with advice on how to get the extension to work as advertised and grant me 25 new generations with which to test it for myself, I still might, and would even change my rating in that case.

The Synthesis X application appears to be less than what it claims to be. In my opinion, its functionality works as follows: it takes an image, converts it into text, and then uses that text to simulate an image that may or may not resemble the original. However, it falls short in terms of object coherence and lighting, making it evident that the results are far from realistic. While it may have some value for abstract images, the overall definition is quite poor. Additionally, it only allows for a limited number of images to be created, making it impractical for long-term use.

Cool idea, absolutely INFURIATING interface. When it generates your images, it only shows 1/3 of the middle. Just the middle, cutting off most details. There is absolutely no way to preview the entire image without downloading it, and then opening the image in an external viewer, which is so super dumb. Also the trial is misleading, you only get to use it 25 times before being nagged to pay, however unless their hiding something behind a paywall, it doesn't do any better of a job at generating anything, than using any of the free generators. It actually seem to be a generation or two behind. Lame.

Not working for me. The revisited imaged do not appear. I've disabled all the ad block but I do not see the result in Chrome for Mac OS

It would be an awesome tool if it actually worked... I don't seem to be able to make it work on any website or image. I was soooo looking forward to using it, what a pity.

Wonderful idea that excites me, but I can't get it to work on any website. One time it appeared to begin to work, but never left the loading screen. Every other attempt hasn't even triggered the side menu.

Synthesys X did the job; it has been converted by force to Phedra and Phedra is a nightmare. Only one picture instead of two and what pictures! The results has nothing to do with the reference picture: surroundings, colors, character, pose, everything is different. The tool is now unusable. Moreover, there is no more upscaling; the picture provided is around 500 ko instead of 1 to 1,5 Mo as it was before, so you can't do anything with it. Even upscaling them by your own means does not help much since the pictures are too blurry from the start. Also, in the Mystudio space on the website, nothing that comes from Phedra is stored, so you don't even have the prompts at your disposal. The managers of this company were just bored at office with a tool that worked properly; they had nothing to do than keep it as it was, so what did they do to avoid sleeping at work while collecting the money? Yes, you get it, they've distroyed their own tool!

Meh... not very good IMO. I tried it on a hummingbird and the body wasn't anatomically correct. Tried it again with a whale and dolphin image and the AI created a whale and dolphin hybrid. Weird and a bit creepy.

To be totally honest, it doesn't work. I've tried to regenerate multiple images and nothing happens. Yes, I'm signed into my account when trying to regenerate images. Cool concept from the training video which shows you what to do just to bad it doesn't work.

I don't understand how Synthesys X generated so many great reviews. I generated 2 photos of Joe Biden: One black and white and one in color--both had problems with the eyes. A Nancy Pelosi generation had the same eye problems, plus it made her look more like a zombie. So, to avoid eye problems, I generated a photo from two horses on their hind legs fighting each other--but one horse had only one hind leg and the other had only one foreleg. A regeneration of the horses showed one horse with 2 legs, but one of them was misshapen and the horse had a third stump leg. Next, I regenerated the classic Uncle Sam Wants You poster, but the eyes were not correct and the pointing finger was mangled. Finally, I generated a new photo from a real woman's face painted in multiple colors and Synthesys X produced a grotesque painting with one hand mangled. Bottom line: in my opinion the product is not yet ready for primetime. I expect it to improve and will continue testing.

It's slow. Sometimes it spins... a lot... and then does nothing. I have to leave the page and come back and keep retrying and sometimes that works. On some days it does better than others, but it just doesn't seem to translate what it sees into something close enough to be able to use effectively. I've tried it on amazon, etsy, and other sites. I think there's still a tremendous potential for this, it's just not fast enough or accurate enough.

Not useful yet. I human with 3 legs and 3 hands, and with a smashed face - this is horrible! And after a few "Try again" it now shows "Usage limit reached" for a few days - I'm banned!

At least for images with people the results are inferior. Faces are distorted, hands are either distorted or displaced, even multiplied (like 3 hands for one poor woman). So the results are pretty unusable other than for fun.
