Description

SlashPaste — Text Snippet Manager Stop retyping the same text. SlashPaste lets you save your frequently used text snippets — email templates, support replies, code blocks, addresses, boilerplate — and insert them instantly into any text field on any website, right from your keyboard. How it works Press the trigger key (backslash `\` by default) while focused in any input, textarea, or rich-text editor. A sleek inline picker pops up right at your cursor. Use the arrow keys to navigate your saved snippets, press Enter to insert, and you're done — no mouse required. Key Features • Instant inline picker — Trigger a floating snippet menu directly at your text cursor on any webpage. Works in standard inputs, textareas, and contenteditable fields (including rich-text editors). • Keyboard-first workflow — Navigate with Arrow Up / Arrow Down, insert with Enter, and dismiss with Esc or Backspace. Your hands never have to leave the keyboard. • Customizable trigger key — Don't like backslash? Change the trigger key to any character you prefer from the Options page. • Popup snippet manager — Quickly add, preview, copy, and delete snippets from the toolbar popup without leaving the current tab. Snippets show a count so you always know how many you have. • Full options page — Manage your entire snippet library from a dedicated full-page editor. Add new snippets with a name and content, reorder, and delete with ease. • Sync across devices — Snippets are stored in Chrome Sync storage, so your library follows you automatically across every Chrome browser where you're signed in. • Works everywhere — The content script runs across all URLs and inside all frames, so SlashPaste works in web apps, email clients, CRMs, coding environments, and more. Perfect for - Customer support agents who send repetitive replies - Developers inserting code snippets, commands, or boilerplate - Writers and marketers reusing templates and phrases - Anyone who types the same things over and over Privacy SlashPaste requests only two permissions: `storage` (to save your snippets via Chrome Sync) and `activeTab` (to insert text into the page you're viewing). No data is ever sent to any server. Everything stays in your browser. --- *Minimal. Fast. Keyboard-driven. Your snippets, always one keypress away.*
