I bought the Pro version, hoping to overcome the limitations of the free version. Unfortunately, this is a waste of money. It can only retrieve one year of data, and you still have to export each chat manually, one by one, so no advantage over the free way to do it, as intended by meta, over the phone, exporting one chat a time from your phone... 20$ wasted...
I spent an entire night attempting to purchase the pro version, but I wasn't successful. The payment system kept asking an excessive number of questions to verify that my credit card wasn't fraudulent. Shortly after, I received this email: Our team is currently performing a final review of your order, making sure everything is just right for you. Your order will then be processed in the shortest time possible (maximum 1 business day). then this email: herefore, we kindly ask you to provide our team with the following order information: Your billing address - please indicate the billing address details you used during your purchase Card details - please clarify the following information: What is the name of your card issuing bank? What type of card did you use for this purchase? then this email: In order to complete your purchase, please provide us with the following information: A photo of your ID - an official document (e.g. your passport or driving license) which includes your full name, photo, date of birth and expiry date A photo of your credit card - please note that the last 4 digits, expiry date and the name of the card holder have to be visible. You may cover the first 12 digits on your card with any physical object. so I asked for refund. thy just CHARGED my card for nothing!!!!
Paid extension. Requires pro to grab more than 25 photos
lmao only 25 pics
doesn't work in groups and with audio to download
doesnt work that great and the free version is limited to 25 pics
NOT GOOD! TERRIBLE EXTENSION. For me, that's it so, feel free to try it though!
It's not workin for me, a client has sent me 316 documents (pictures) and I used the extension to download them all and I got 4mb of pictures (14 images) :(
It does work, but it's very crude - it essentially just scrolls the browser, right-clicks on each media and downloads. It would be quite slow for large numbers of files. I don't think it's worth paying for, instead I think extracting the Whatsapp media from the phone app using paid tools developed for iOS or Android is cleaner and faster. (Also instructions need to be updated because Chrome by default blocks the whatsapp website from downloading multiple files at once, so this setting had to be changed for the extension to work)
