Kinda normal mid translator where you have to pay for anything more than a single chapter's worth of translation, but I'm more rating it one star just because the dev is a cringe prick about it.
Trash, only a trial
Not free and kinda expensive, you have to log in :c, developer is "angry" against people who rewiew bad (no good image for the product, didnt want to try ... i read through the other reviews) many other better FREE options e.g. google lens for us is free to use (devoloper will probably again say that "google has to pay for it as well as he does" but still free for us and will ask why i search for extionsion when i have better options (im searching for things which can impress me with some special extras or something etc. ) Free credits for good review ( so maybe not completly accurate ... devoloper will say "nah they dont review but cause of reward they do and they do how they want") complicated login procedure, too complicated to understand how it works, pro and con at the same time many different options for translation ... dont know which one to use... if it even worked ... doent do anything .... ALL IN ALL l: doesnt work, developer is kinda weird, expensive, better (free) options, i recommend not to use ... it happened what i said ... google lens was the worst out of the free options but everyone knows it ... found many more better free options and even paid ... answering to developer: you lower my rating for no reason - product does not work and or is too complicated , dont like prices etc. perfect sense why I rate low; Google Lens so much then why do you even come here to search for extensions - like i said above still searching for something better e.g. google lens can do but e.g. i need my phone ; There aren't any better free options- There are . There are also better "paid" ones tho i dont want to list all of these . ; Google lens is awful and Google Translate is not free for developers like myself to use - like i said still free for us to use google lens may not always be the best but at least it works ; why do you even come here to search for extensions, when you can just keep using Google Lens in the first place - like i said im still searching for something better ( and found some much better options ... they also work) ; you just log in with a single button - no, some complicated email confirmation etc. ; then you translate with a single button - doesnt work; Please remove your stupid review - many reasons why not ... e.g. not working , price, better other options; You're not helping anyone actually decide if Torii is a good product or not. - not sure about that but they can test and test other products and may like myself can find other better free or paid options for whatever they need
Too many cost... I am deeply disappointed, I am poor, I want to have free knowledge of foreign books, add some Google translator at least
Idiotic button placement covers other things. Can't enable/disable on specific sites.
keeps asking "Please log in with the extension from the popup. Go to your browser's extension menu" but can't find where to log in
Pretty much the same as other "AI" translators they all hook-up the image to either google lens, deepL or gpt and are paywalled for that convenience.
Pricing not mentioned on the extensions page. It should be free, doesnt make sense to pay for something which is basically just a wrapper around LLMs.
trash, money scam
It only translated some of the text on the screen and the translation wasn't very good. I also don't like that you can't just pay a one-time fee and be able to use the extension. I absolutely hate subscriptions. I'm curious if real people actually pay those prices to use this poor translator extension.
Google translate is FREE! no excuses! so why have you took away all of my FREE credits when I translate with Google translate selected! SCAM!

wow its not work!!
It's decent with translation, I've seen a couple of weird translations but overall it's fine. The pricing though is way too expensive, the cheapest option is 6 bucks which just offers 2500 tokens which honestly when I used them I would've preferred if I payed 2 or 3 bucks for them, I wouldn't have left off feeling a little bit ripped off. I would've loved it if the extension had a thing where you would get like 30 daily token like you get in the trial or maybe even 5 or 10 daily or maybe earn some by watching ads like mobile games do, but these prices are way too inflaterd for the service offered without much ways to earn them for free, if 0you put the price up that high at least counter balance it with something
just give a trial like maybe 20 image for not login, i suggest just make a website and get urself and ads maybe
is good for translate but credit finish at half page and i can't spend money just for low credit also why use credit use by page or by chapter i m done wait me 1 mounth i ll do mine for free...
Too pricey for me. Please give us subscription options or price for permanent version or at least increase the credit quantity of it
The translator's functionality is amazing. What I need is automatic translation of images on Chinese shopping sites so I don't have to translate them one by one. However, Tori's pricing model is not favorable using a credit system and using 1 credit per image translated. This means that if I browse sites using auto-translate activated, it'll burn through credits very quickly, even for many images that I won't view. So the convenience is lost if I choose to translate images I want to read in order to save significant amounts of money. I'd easily pay top dollar for a one-time purchase but having to pay per image is too expensive for the long-term.
It does a good job translating clearly from what I've seen through the free trial. However, not a fan of the pricing model. You essentially need to buy credits, one credit is 1 image. For korean webcomics, I fear this can get expensive, especially if the long panelling are multiple short images. I would've been all aboard if there was unlimited credits through a set price or monthly subscription. But for now, I don't know if I can see myself buying credits. So up to you if that's worth it since you prob could read like 80-100 manga chapters with the $6 option. But the idea I have to be cautious about my credit spending while I read? It stresses me out. As for the multiple positive reviews, no, none are bots. But they are incentivised to leave a review for free credits if anyone was curious. Anyways, seems like a good service, and the developer does seem to care. I just wish there was an unlimited credit option somehow.
(used on PC) Both this extension and Ichigo (strawberry translator which I paid for) seem like really well made translation apps. You can tell they work for certain people. But neither work for the official Korean manhwa sites I use (LezhinKO, Ridibooks, Peanutoon, Bomtoon, etc). I don't read pirated manga or manhwa so I'm sure these apps work well on illegal sites, but it just sucks that I'm doing the right thing by supporting creators and I can't have an easy way to translate comics that isn't literally uploading a screenshot of each and every panel and then running it thru a translator. That's extremely tedious. I would like it if someone could figure out a way to have an in-browser auto translator that works for official sites.
It's ok, tried a few sites some it works on and some it doesn't hard to say if was lucky or unlucky without using further.
Definately a decent app. But I still feels like it need work in someways(though unforunately I cant name any at the moment) Also how do I log out? I removed the app but it didnt log out from your main site
Everyone is saying nice things about this extension, but why must i give my Google Login info to use it?? There are free - no login extensions in the Chrome Web Store.., so can't the author of this extension also do the translating without our login info..?
