Beesy: Record Google Meets

First few recording sessions worked great but then it started to hang each time I tried entering the list of my recordings. I were unable to download any videos after that until I discovered a trick - if I quickly click a few times on the download button it would still hang but the file will be downloaded. But today it just randomly crashed during my meeting and even this trick doesn't help to retrieve my recording... I've lost a very important piece of information with seemingly no way of recovering it despite the plugin showing my video in the list.

Did not tell me I was recording. Lost almost an hour of great interview footage. Never again :(

Can't get it to initiate recordings and can't file a ticket because Github won't let me make an account. Update - I was able to file a ticket on Github now

It sometimes ended up only recording one person's voice while completely cutting out everyone else's.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Beesy. It was a highly important call that extended to 1 hour. After concluding the call, I clicked on "stop recording," but when I checked the folder for the recorded file, I couldn't find my Google Meeting recording. How can I retrieve the recorded session?

I lost my whole recording during a really important video call, because the video was somewhat corrupted (32min, but I can only see 3s). IT SUCKS!!!

This service is great! For some reason though, my audio does not seem to be recording, it's picking it up in the transcript just not in the video itself so I think there may be some sort of bug

This extension has been nothing but amazing so far but there has been an issue that's been bothering me for quite some time. I am unable to play the video recordings, even if I try to, it would play for a second or two and then just ends. I tried the option available in settings to fix this issue, but that doesn't work either. Note for the dev: I also see a message in the console saying ffmpeg is not loaded, call 'await ffmpeg.load()' first. Perhaps that could be one of the issues? Please take a look

Could not get this extension to work on Pop!_OS. Tried with the extension buttons and keyboard shortcuts. Permissions are set to 'Allow' for camera and mic. Are there any more configurations to get it to work?
