Description

Email Notifier is an extension that gives you easy access to a few famous email providers (such as Gmail, iCloud, Live Mail, etc.), plus you get badge notifications. Before using the extension, please log in to each email service once to enable the badge notifications. To add or remove an email service, please open the options page and choose desired services (at the top). Moreover, you can re-arrange email tiles within the toolbar popup. Badge color is also adjustable via the settings page. To report bugs, please visit the addon's homepage and fill out the bug report form (https://mybrowseraddon.com/email-notifier.html).

This is worthless trash, it doesn't work at all. I see others have had the same complaint for over 7 years, with nothing being fixed, great work. This garbage shouldn't be allowed to be posted at all.

Too bad it doesn't support Outlook.com. There are dozens of extensions for checking Gmail. I need one for Outlook.com, and nobody's interested, it seems.

With all appropriate boxes checked, doesn't work at all with Chrome version 67.0.3396.79 (Official Build) (64-bit); no notifications, no alert sound.

It has problems with Hotmail account. Sometimes, it works fine, but other times seem to lose "synchronization" with Hotmail account and it doesn't show anymore notifications. The question mark appears next to the Hotmail icon. I'll edit the review if the bug will be fixed.

It just works. I've been looking for a long time for an email notifier that's simple and just works and this one is the first one that works for all my emails and it does not ask me for my password. The only thing that I wish was modifiable would be how loud the notification sound is. I would like to have it, but also have to option to set it to somewhat of a lower volume. EDIT: 13.09.2016, It no longer checks Hotmail accounts on a regular basis. Sometimes I have emails on my Hotmail account that I have not been notified about for days. EDIT: 31.01.2019, Everything works fine. EDIT: 29.03.2023, Hotmail/Outlook does not work again.

Shows emails waiting all the time even when there are none, Kinda defeats the purpose.

I am having the same problem that other people have encountered: no notifications, no alert sound. I have throughly check all the Extensions Options and made sure the correct boxes are selected. I also would like to have the option hide/remove the icons for email services I do not use.

Does not work to yahoo mail, it works only to notify me of gmail and not notify me of my yahoo, mail.com mails. Contacted developer for support and was never replied to.

Would love to be able to add/remove mail services. (Like I only use Gmail and Yahoo, would like to remove the buttons for the others)

Email providers not in use can not be removed from the list

the badge is on the mail icon, when i click on the icon in the toolbar it should open tabs for the email provider i have mail for, and once it opens them there should be an option to reset the badge counter to zero otherwise it keeps showing the same number until it checks again..simple programming logic here...otherwise its ok
