Teams Transcript Downloader enables ALL meeting participants to download transcripts from Microsoft Teams recorded meetings as VTT files with speaker information - not just the meeting organizer. KEY FEATURES - Download transcripts even without organizer permissions - One-click download of meeting transcripts - Saves in VTT format with speaker names - Smart icon indicator shows transcript availability - Automatic detection of transcript-enabled recordings HOW IT WORKS Normally, only meeting organizers can download Teams transcripts. This extension bypasses that limitation, allowing any participant with recording access to download transcripts. The extension automatically checks if transcripts are available on Teams recording pages. When a transcript is available, the extension icon turns colored - simply click it to download. If grayed out, hover over the icon to see why the transcript is unavailable. REQUIREMENTS - Works only on SharePoint-hosted Teams recording pages (*.sharepoint.com/*/stream.aspx*) - Transcripts must be enabled for the recording - Requires viewing permissions to access the recording (participant level is sufficient) PRIVACY This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any user data.
