YtcFilter - YouTube Chat Filter

Doesn't work, not sure why but no amount of tinkering in the settings does anything and there are no error messages.

it won't even filter messages for me anymore, my old filter settings don't even catch mod or channel owner messages ://

Can I go back to the old version? He can't grab any chat room logs at all, and I don't even know how to configure it to grab basic SC messages.

New version 3 has made some unwanted changes. First, It doesn't open up automatically. I have to hit Embed every time to get it open. Second, it's extremely annoying when you hit clear the text that you have to CONFIRM it every time. I hit clear so just do it. Third, get rid of the stupid blue box that appears when you have no messages in the box yet. It's distracting and completely unnecessary. Version 3 is a downgrade overall.

I thought this extension would allow me to filter chats. For example in You Tube or Twitch it should recognize a keyword then filter that particular comment. It cannot do this. I want to use it to prevent spammers by filtering their comments based on certain strings used such as "XYZ".

Latest update now "requires" access to your browser history. Funny how it worked just fine without needing it before but now it can't be used at all without giving it this permission.

The new version at first wouldn't except my previous filters. Eventually it worked, but the extension refuses to save chats indiscriminately. Now it doesn't work full stop; I can't access the settings or my filters.

It was great until they ruined it.

Can you please stop updating the extension?? Every single time this extension updates everything goes down hill... now you can't edit filters from the chat box, you need to go to pop out mode, which is the most unstable thing I've ever seen, even more unstable than my ex. every single time you add a filter it has 50% chance to crash, and guess what, every time it crashes it stops working indefinitely, and restarting the browser won't help, hell not even restarting the PC would help either, you need to remove the entire extension, reinstall it again and repeat the entire process from the beginning. for the love of god, stop it, it was functional. This is the fifth time btw I've removed it and reinstall again... Thanks for the update

After the new update 2.0.2 my profiles and filters wont save. After closing youtube and going to another stream all my save filters and profiles are gone.

A useful extension. Started getting random out of memory errors today, they went away as soon as I turned off the ytcfilter. Waiting for the fix.

I relly love this, but please do something about the error when the filter fail to load since the recent update.

Really nice but it's resetting all my presets like three or four times a day

This extension has been very helpful for me, but why does the latest update require access to my browsing history? That's not something I'm going to allow without an explanation.

It works great until people decide to use commonly used filters to spam which at this moment is happening a lot more often because of what happened with coco and haachama. Some kind of whitelist or blacklist would be really appreciated.
