Description

FROM WEB PAGE TO EDITABLE POWERPOINT — IN SECONDS Web2PPT captures the structure and styling of the page you see and turns it into an editable .pptx built from native objects (not a flat screenshot): an Asset Board — text boxes, tables, shapes, embedded images, and color blocks you can copy into your corporate template. Copy and tables stay real, editable text; images are standard pictures you can move, resize, crop, or replace like any slide image (not in-slide pixel editing). We do the heavy lifting (roughly 80–90% of the grunt work) — moving web content into editable slides. You keep control of the final story: delete a nav item, tweak a number, apply your master — that last mile is yours, by design. No AI summaries. No hallucinations. No data sent to the cloud for conversion. Just real content, made editable, processed locally in your browser. WHO IS IT FOR? • Consultants & strategy teams — competitor sites, pricing pages, client portals for proposals and benchmarks • Business analysts & product owners — dashboards, feature pages, data tables without manual retyping • Sales — prospect sites into slide-ready assets before a call • Trainers & instructional designers — docs and course pages into deck building blocks • Anyone who needs editable slide material from a real page, not an AI-generated summary HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the page you want 2. Click the Web2PPT icon 3. Click Extract (exports your Asset Board) 4. Open the .pptx in PowerPoint or Google Slides — copy what you need into your template Export: one Auto / Asset Board mode — large, faithful layout with smart pagination for long pages (within PowerPoint physical limits). (No alternate slide-size preset in the UI today.) WHY "ASSET BOARD" Most companies already have a strict PowerPoint master. Web2PPT does not replace it. It gives you a dense board of native objects extracted from the page so you are not starting from a blank slide — most of the transfer work is already done; you curate and paste. WHAT WORKS WELL • B2B landing pages, SaaS pricing, product and docs pages • Blog articles and long reads • Data tables and comparison grids (native HTML tables and supported layouts) • KPI cards, colored sections, inline SVGs (best effort) • Pages where editability matters more than pixel-perfect chrome Keywords: extract dashboard to PowerPoint, HTML to PPTX, editable slide assets, B2B data extraction, web page to slides, competitor analysis slides, no AI, local/offline processing PRIVACY & SECURITY — LOCAL-FIRST Web2PPT runs in your browser. There is no Web2PPT backend; no account is required for core export. • Page content is not sent to Web2PPT servers for conversion (local processing) • Generated files save directly to your device • Suitable for confidential dashboards and intranet pages as long as the page loads in Chrome normally Full Privacy Policy: https://arronax007.github.io/web2ppt-legal/privacy-policy.html KNOWN LIMITATIONS (WE'D RATHER SAY IT UPFRONT) • Large pages — the extension blocks exports beyond roughly 10,000 extracted objects or ~38 MB of embedded image data and shows an on-screen error (try a shorter or lighter page). Below those guardrails, very dense pages can still be slow or produce very large .pptx files that may not open reliably in PowerPoint; prefer filtered views when possible • WebGL / heavy canvas (Figma, Miro, mind-mapping tools, some charts) — not captured or partial • Heavy SPAs that paint after load — may be incomplete; scroll the page once before export if content is animation-gated • Infinite scroll — capture depth is capped • Premium long-form sites — occasional contrast issues; layout may need a quick fix in PowerPoint • Strong enterprise auth (dynamic tokens, MFA) — may block useful DOM access • Animations and video — static snapshot only • Web fonts — typically mapped to safe defaults (e.g. Segoe UI) for PPTX compatibility BUILT WITH TRANSPARENT DEPENDENCIES Web2PPT uses open-source libraries such as PptxGenJS for local .pptx generation. Conversion does not upload your page HTML or body text to Web2PPT servers. Optional usage telemetry, if enabled in a given build, is limited to aggregated events as described in the Privacy Policy (not the page body or full URLs).
