This is useless. I have a samsung chromebook and Im trying to write a paper for my computer literacy class and most of the tools on word that i need for that class are not available like the ruler or tab insert or tab stops. They need to add those or just delete word since you need office 365 but you need a subscription for it and i had the subscription but it still wouldnt let me do those things plus this computer only lets you use word online and not the actual word app.

I agree with everyone. IT SUCKS!! I tried logging in but it froze every time! I also agree that google docs is a TON better. If you want to write a good or great paper then try GOOGLE DOCS! But if you REALLY want to use Microsoft word then go right ahead but I will say again IT IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!

Just a blank screen. Cant even review somehting that doesnt work. SMH Microsoft is acting way too exclusive

It was working fine for a while but for the past month whenever I try to open a blank document I get the response "no app installed to open file type" so I guess this app cannot open the files that it creates and has turned it completely useless.

App is a joke don't even bother with it!

I create and format a document, then go to create a PDF and the formatting is completely different. Different fonts, random line spaces were there weren't any. I'm only using Word online because Microsoft because Microsoft have blocked me from using my product key in the new versions of the software, although I have paid to be able to use it for life. Their support is evil, just sends you in circles.

Can't figure out how to update app and now it will not open.

Just a terrible, terrible implementation of Word. Free, yes. But what you get for being 'free' compared to other wordprocessing tools is a laughing stock; no flexibility in moving pictures around and the 'page-view' as examples. Keep as far away from it as possible!

Can ya'll add the features on the regular desktop application. I have a Chromebook and this is the only way I can use Word.

It is a crappy version of word... it doesnt have most of the important features that make word worth getting. I would not reccomend to anyone. i am quite dissapointed with Word Online.

It wants to show up with other apps, but I cannot access it from my "new tab" page, and when I connect to the website, it's in french, which I cannot read, and chrome won't translate.

Program would freeze once every 5 minutes, very frustrating when trying to finish an essay. Refreshing the page would cause the program to crash, causing me to have to reopen it and wait for everything to load. I'll never use this again, I'm changing to Google Doc.

I liked the other version of microsoft word so much more, cant edit as much as i need to

Does not work in Chrome 62 or any chromebook browser than I own. Just keeps saying "can't create new app"

Need help, using on chromebook 14. DOwnloaded it fine but when I go to open any document even saved one I get a system error/runtime error but no number so no clue how to fix it :( Need this for uni work!!
