when i paste a link it finds 0 images

completely useless, just does the same as right clicking and selecting save as, but takes longer.

Used to always use this extension, and would have rated 5stars, but for now its getting a 1. The new update that adds permissions to Read and Change data on both Facebook and Instagram is kind of worrying/creepy. Why would an image downloader need those permissions?????

The latest update of Image Downloader (4.0.1) makes my browser (Vivaldi 7.3.3635.12, stable channel, 64-bit) hang at startup. It becomes unusable for 5-10 minutes every time that I open the browser with Image Downloader enabled. When I disable/uninstall the extension, it launches immediately without issues. That means that I have to unfortunately keep the extension disabled until an update with a fix gets pushed. A pity because I loved this extension, I hope the problem can be fixed asap.

I see "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions." Is it safe? Seem like it hasn't been updated for a long time.

Picture literally has worse quality than screenshotting with snip tool.

It doesn't work on most sites and it downloads images out of order, so be prepared to have organize your images once downloaded.

It used to work good before , now it doesnt get all the images on the page . and if it does its not in full resolution

Only saves images as the size in preview on Pinterest, won't save images in full size as per origin source so all are 130x200 or so in size.

DID NOT WORK. There was no indication on any web page that has images, how I was supposed to download them other than the standard right click on an image that is there without this extension. A waste of my time.

It fails to download images to the assigned folder. It downloads some images to the last folder and some to the new... some, somehow ended up in a completely different folder ???????

added this to try download a gif from youtube community, since right clicking only downloaded the first frame, this extension did the same thing

This is a completely useless extension. It does absolutely nothing. You hit the "download" button, and nothing happens. The extension never even asks you where you want to save the files, and the idiot developer didn't bother writing any documentation to explain how it's even supposed to work.

It used to be great, but with the new version, all the other apps that download images don't work properly anymore. I'm very disappointed, but I won't be using it until this issue is resolved.

This suddenly changed to require access to all website data. For an image downloader, this is inherently abusive and appears to have bad intent. There is no reason to require access to my passwords. Removed.

I have the problem that all the images that I download with the app appear in WEBP format instead of JPG or PNG, this start 2 days ago, first i think it was the website i enter but no on every website i tried to download a image i have the same result

Chrome blocked it as it's now reporting that this extension will read and change all your data on websites you visit, yet the publisher still states that it will not collect or use your data, and having to scroll through past thumbnail sized images to get to the full size ones was a pain anyway. I'll give it a while to see if it gets fixed, but I'll be looking for something else from the look of it.

Today it just welcomed me with error saying it's got disabled because it requires read and change all my data on opened pages. I can understand a lot but this just smells like scam and all that mobile apps like "flashlight- requires access to your messages, contacts, storage and consent to send your data". Srsly.

It changes the image colours to be darker. I guess if you don't mind that you get a 'remix' rather than a copy she's all good.

EVERYTIME! I must have downloaded between Google and Firefox a hundred of these image downloaders,and guess what.... This one is just as useless as all the others. does anyone test these?
