I got this app and it looked pretty cool, but there is a problem. I can't use the app at all! It dosen't even show up on my chrome book or anything. Im not really familiar with Chromebooks since I got mine about 2 years ago. But I still don't get why it won't even pop up.

All I wanted was a pretty basic picture edit. A background color layer, a picture layer, 4 boxes of text, aligned, and showing CE characters. This "free alternative for photoshop" can't even do that much. Adding text is pretty much impossible. The first box was okay. But then, changing the font in the next box literally killed it. The whole picture turned black, and it wasn't possible to undo it, or do anything at all. I tried several times, but the result was always the same.

Used to be so good, I could edit anything using Sumopaint and was using it on a daily basis for 3+ years!!! Then they released the new version and now its COMPLETE TRASH. So many bugs and crashes. Simple things as adding a text and editing it, is now HORRIBLE. Everything that I loved has been smashed to pieces. Not sure what the developers was thinking... I've been coming back to give it another shot a few times since the new release. But It doesn't get any better... It's a shame... I still have the old version installed on my computer but I can't use it as I need to "login" which doesn't work anymore unfortunatly... Used to be 10/10, now 1/10, would not recommend it to anyone. There are better options out there!

was a long time user before the new update (2.0) The new 'upgrades' to the sumopaint tool make it practically unusable. They removed some of the best tools from the original online version. Also they added in a tonne of stuff no one asked for. Photo editor, DAW to create music, movie editor, code editor and even a 3D editor. Also if you ever encounter ANY problems with anything from this developer they DO NOT reply to any emails that you send them! Be warned & stay away.

It doeant work for touch-screen computers only mouse! You also have to pay for the most stupidest things. Would not recomend this!

Why does the circle tool cost money? And also the other circle tool is gradient. No way to change it.

It was good. Now you have to have the PRO to do anything in this. TRASH DO NOT USE. if you are going to pay just get Photoshop!

This is a scam. I was doing an edit and EVERY TIME I would draw with ANY tool, it would not do ANYTHING. This app is a SCAM.

Neo-cheating. Lures you to downloan App, and subsequently limits it's features. This is a clear attempt to make you invest time and edit ceratin parts of a document, and coaxing the user to then buy the app because of the said investment of time. Many apps do this and it needs to end. Either decide if an app is 100% free, or 100% cost-based. I'm done. Uninstalling and will consider litigation against the creator.

Requires Flash so is effectively deprecated for Chrome users.

They let you make your project and then force you to go pro or lose all your progress. Disingenuous, especially for an app with such poor interface in the first place.

Okay I used this ALL THE TIME, then I logged onto it after a web update for it and literally all the basic essential tools you need are pro? It's highly upsetting and very disappointing, it glitched in and out of my art basis when I started my free trial, and when it took my money for a year subscription, it glitched at least 5/6 times in midst of drawing....

i used to go on the website a lot when i was into digital art, but once they started hiding otherwise free tools behind paywalls and money-grubbing "Pro" modes, i stopped using it. Case in point, if you're gonna waste your money on art stuff, buy an Image Scanner. It's what i did, all things considered.

Very unintuitive, poorly designed, zero functionality without the monetized version. Absolute waste of time.

It worked so well. I enjoyed using it until my free trial ran out. This is obviously a money scam. The free trial doesn't even last that long. Clearly this is just a scam, hoping that you'll enjoy it so much you'll end up purchasing it, when there's clearly a better option that's free.

Terrible, literally have to pay for everything. I mean, paying for a line tool and to adjust the image's colour? Honestly this is quite unfair. I used to enjoy this extension and use it everyday until literally everything I used became pro :(

Used to love this app until they added the pro feature. They continue to excluded features that used to be free ,soon there wont be anything available to use. Even when I considered paying for pro , there is a time limit. very unhappy.

Hate it now. I've been a loyal user of it before they added the 'pro membership' where it blocks most of the tools to use that were useful to me while I was working on something. Will NOT be using this again.

i used this as a replacement for sai paint tool and i preferred it until now it made most of the features i used only available for pro! this was the only good art thing i found on chrome now its ruined, thanks alot

As a self taught artist who is used to this program for many of my works of art, i have to say that it was better than microsoft paint. however, taken away the save to computer and locked away behind a pay wall, is a really bad idea. this is not worth your money as i was considering to get your pro account however its not worth it i would rate this as a 0 if i could
