Muzli - Design inspiration hub

Muzli has stopped working. I get the message: "Oops! Something went wrong Doing one of the following things could help: Checking the network cable or router Resetting the modem or router Reconnecting to Wi-Fi" I am on WIFI! I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked for a bit (like a number of hours only), but is now broken again.

The Homepage always shows "Oops! Something went wrong" all the time, and suggests actions below that do not help. Can i get some help?

this extension no longer works well for those using google chrome by default, i don't know why this extension wants to manger the start up page setting on my chrome setting. its not every time i open a new tab that the site should open.

The app might be good but their security gets 0 points. As a user I have now control over what data the app and the companies behind muzli use. The use your email address on their email lists and you have no option to opt-out or even delete your account. A really BAD application that takes all control away from you and your data.

This used to be a great extension... ruined by spam-like content and data collection (forced to register/sign in) practices in recent versions. Uninstalled.

The lite version (the one not replacing your new tab) has been gone for ages, yet it's still advertised on their page (you get redirected there on uninstall). That's just terrible, no matter how good the extension is otherwise

Muzli is now forcing me to login with fb/twitter or gmail. This is against all privacy and honesty DO NOT INSTALL THIS PRIVACY HACKING EXTENSION

Used to be good before the update to version 3. Now forcing me to log in and create an account to share my data with inVision. Also very bad UX practice on the first sign up screen with the sneaky checkbox saying "I am NOT interested in news from inVision" which is usually reverse order. Uninstalling.

Still takes over every tab. So much for version 2

This extension prevents me from using speed dial, even with Muzli Lite. 👎

Default new tab hijack. Enough said. When you uninstall, they give you the option for a Lite version that doesn't do this. #fail

I use Speed Dial 2 as my default new tab. Muzli don't compatible with Speed Dial 2 extension. I can't use both extensions in the same time. Even if I use Muzli lite, this extension still control New tab setting and show me default Chrome New tab instead of displaying to me my Speed Dial 2 new tab. Sad, but I uninstalled Muzli extension. Would be glad to come back and use Muzli extension when it will not overide my Speed Dial 2 default new tab.

Doesn't work on Firefox with Foxified ! It would be great that you correct the bug so that FF users can use the Chrome extension (and greater that you'd actually create a Firefox extension because since Quantom came out, it's the best browser out here)

Mostly promotional content for Invision. I love Invision, but have no interest in downloading an app that allows any company to put the content they want in front of me first.

It could be a nice app if it wouldn't be "new tab" overwriting monster. Yeah, I know, this extension has "lite version" which makes "new tab" default, but you can't use extensions like Speed dial 2. And no one uses default tab and this extension doesn't have any sense then. There's a feeling that someone is afraid of business competition

I JUST WANT TO REMOVE THEIR TERRIBLE SUGGESTIONS.

If you could hide their "picks" (horrible..)– I'd give it 5 Stars, BUT...

Nice one but I hate that they push their content when I open a new tab and don't give an opportunity to changes preferences. I've removed it.

Loved it, but removed it because it is taking over my other new tab extension. Later muzli asked me to install muzli lite, but this doesnt allow my other new tab page to work.

It basically hijacks your start page. now what I expected.

I truly love the extension. As a creative, I love opening chrome and being bombarded with inspiration. But truly, is there no way to save projects for later??? Like, if i see something I like, i click it, there's no option to save it other than adding the whole page to my bookmarks? I'd have loved it if there was somehow an option to keep all the things I save on muzli onto my muzli account.

Why I'm not able to share my work since the launch?

Nice idea. Well executed and pretty intuitive but I don't like the fact that I can't seem to enable bookmarks toolbar (when you open a new tab it appears), which is what I actually want as well as the quick launch links within the Muzli landing page. I don't want to have to have to open my bookmarks list every time I want select one of my saved links. Unless this is possible it's a two star from me.

For the love of god stop overlaying the muzli bar over the website so i am not actualy on the website. other than that it is pretty great

Sign-up/sign in flow doesn't work (Chrome mac os). I've tried all possible options.

I used to love this but recently it forces you to log in (so impossible to use on my work computer as I don't use any personal accounts on it), and I can't find a way to stop seeing trashy "news" and clicky bait buzzfeed type articles, despite only selecting the design option. Used to be great for industry news and inspiration, now just like any other trashy feed. Really disappointing.

No option for DuckDuckGo. This is a new tab page, is it not? Also, if you respond when you add an option for DDG, I will happily change my review to five stars! It's a decent experience, but I don't use Google products except for in a few edge cases. For example, to add extensions on this Brave install.

Why would I want a website as my "new tab"? It would be a 5-star website (am I missing it somewhere?). As it is, it is endless distraction. Want to do something? Here's a cuteness to look at instead, and news to read! I would definitely keep in my bookmarks to visit regularly, but I can't have it as my "new tab". Do I HAVE to use it as a "new tab"?

So much potential, could have been great. In fact, I still like a lot of it, but, like everything else in the world of digital, it had to become a mouth piece for partisan politics. "The best design inspiration - expertly curated for you." Stay in your lane, dudes! I'm deleting for now and sticking to get my inspiration in other ways.

A great application but why does it crash? Have to repair it once a week...

I enjoyed this plugin for a while, though I'm curious why my feed is suddenly FULL of vloggers that I do not have activated via my channel feed. Why is there no way to disable this??? If I see another Gary Vaynerchuk video, i swear to god...

The subscription feed doesn't make sense, I've only subscribed to tech news yet, I keep seeing political and sport news that I don't care about. very Disappointing.

Thumb images don't load

I can't get most of the pictures to load. I want to love this app but without pictures it's not very useful. Can't get anybody to respond to my support request either. If all of the pictures loaded it would be five stars for sure.

Why not to make a unique app for chrome. I'm not a web designer, but I love your stuff. Dont make me hate you at the very start. Cause I do BTW, how can I get muz.li for chrom if I'm using Opera?

I love it! Two stars and removed the app, because of New tab take over. Hope you change it.

Great app!! and sorry for one star, but I don't like the idea that you are taking over my New Tab. Please disable this option and please offer an option to remove the right side Most Visited collumn. Other then that its a great app. Looking forward for the update.

Awesome compilation of content. Hijacked my new tab page - all productivity was lost.

I love the extension, but since the recent updates, when I type a search phrase and press Enter, it goes straight to Muzli without giving me the option to search the general web like before. This disrupts the flow, even if it’s just one extra click, and it honestly makes me consider removing the extension because it’s a bit annoying. I really love the extension and hope you bring this feature back.

Muzli is a good tool for design inspiration and trend discovery, but it would be even better with categories and options to filter by user interests. Adding the ability to browse by date ranges (last week, month, year) would make it easier to find fresh and relevant content quickly.
