YouTube Control Center

Broke my Youtube and it's still broken after deleting the extension. Honestly, that's the rock bottom, how can you make an extension worse than that?

Did what I wanted to initially but caused chrome to crash eventually when watching youtube videos or immediately every time i opened the extension options from the toolbar.

Doesnt work. I wanted it to fully buffer a video.

not working at all on 2023/01/13 with latest chrome

I installed it for loading the whole video and it doesn't work.

This extension did not do the one thing I wanted it for, buffering the entire video instead of just a few minutes. One star for false advertising.

Horrible. Doesn't buffer videos further. Made it so that I couldn't see any comments or suggested videos, as everything but the video was just grey blocks. How is this even an extension? Literally does NOTHING that it claims to do.

Update Below Original Review I have been through all of the YouTube extensions, and this is the one that does not come with bugs, glitches, and/or otherwise, horrid details that ruin the interface.

Not buffering more than original.

At the time of writing, the option to buffer video without starting buffers only about 30 secs of video before stopping. Won't buffer whole video.

When playing any YouTube video in MS Edge 114.0.1823.43 (Official Build) (64-bit) this application "YouTube Control Center" creates, when you hover the mouse over the image, half black appears on the video screen at the bottom of the video. When "YouTube Control Center" is disabled, this bug disappears. Request to the developers of "YouTube Control Center" to solve the compatibility issue with the MS Edge browser. In the Google Chrome browser, this application works without problems.

This is a extension on the store for greater control over auto play and other annoyances on YouTube when not signed in. Everything works fine but I have found a few issues: 1. » The buffering of the video without starting it does not actually do anything 2. » The playback quality when set to Highest still chooses Auto instead of the highest quality 3. » The display video suggestions sidebar remains when unchecked. (This was not a major issue for me, personally, because I have all the displays enabled) Clicking the extension opens up a mini player with no playlist information. There is also a history side pane which appears to be broken as well. The preferences menu is a slick mobile style menu with a 3 stacked line burgaesa. Minor annoyance: The settings pane is not a persistent window and if you click off it you will have to reopen and click the 3 line menu again. The author could improve the app by fixing these issues.

I still have to manually set the video resolution after I set quality to 1080HD (or Best resolution) in the extension's pop-up. And repeat after each page reload (eg after a break) and for each 'Next episode' in playlists. Chrome OS here so I can't even try the extension on Firefox unfortunately :( Nice extension beside this.

Some of the controls have stopped working. F.eks: I cannot turn the video suggestions sidebar off anymore. Deleting and reinstalling did not fix the problems. I'll still keep the extension for turning off video comments which was my reason to get it in the first place.
