no longer works. filters do not work. using 4.3 update, set filter by date range and number of likes < x, it reads all tweets, but does not "find" or "delete" any. used to work before 4.2 update.

Avoid at all costs! paid for a month at it doesn't work

The plugin used to be free, but they broke it. Today, the plugin doesn't work at all. They say you can delete 50 posts per day, but after one post, the plugin stops working. It's faster to delete posts manually. I won't pay for it. Garbage!

I loved this chrome extension but its not working now,It has got monetized I have to use another chrome extension Unbelivable,In india so cant pay and get this Someone Make the exact same for free again,I am sure a devloper can get this done in 15 mins and monetize it via youtube and social media

It stopped working for me. I only had 43 tweets and as a test, I tried to delete a short period. It failed. The UI which looks good was stuck with "Delete Tweets is Running" endlessly without any deletion

Doesn't work. Says "609 Read, 0 Delete, 0 Find". Nothing gets deleted. This is when trying to delete tweets between a date range, which should encompass around 550 of the 609 total tweets. I tried it twice. Does not work.

Worked fine for 800-1000 tweets but it hasn't been able to delete anything more, been trying the past 4 days.

Stopped working again. Maybe it's just not possible to keep up with changes, but each time I use it I waste time scrolling back to see if it worked this time and trying again. I didn't mind paying for it as it was worth it, but only when it worked. It deleted a few this time and if I ran it again each time it would do 1 or 2 more but now it has stopped again. Giving up and removing it now. Wasted enough time on fake extensions

I get an error as soon as I run it "Twitter API rate limit has been exceeded, try again later." so it doesn't work for me

Version 2.9.3 doesn't do anything. Will update review if developer can get it to work in the near future.

28-dec-2024, the extension is not working!

Installed in hopes of erasing my entire Twitter history - that's a lot of tweets! After "reading" around 3200 tweets, the extension closed on itself and hasn't erased anything. I am well aware that erasing over 106k tweets would take some work, but when nothing was removed at all, it's safe to say this doesn't work and my best bet would be to just close my account all together.

As of today 2ND of December, 2024. This extension does not work. tried it multiple times and i wanted to erase everything on my Twitter account ( Tweets and Retweets). it didn't work.

said it deleted 4,200 tweets. it deleted who knows how many.

When you run out of tweets it just crashes because the programmer didn't check to see if the array of tweets is null.

It crashed five times in three days. It shows its reading the tweets and afer about 400 tweets it crashes. I am using Google Chrome browser with a Google Delete Tweet Extension.

Total trash. pure waste of time

It deleted basically everything I wanted to keep and left a lot of the stuff I wanted to remove, destroying years of Twitter content and still leaving me a lot of manual work to clean up the things I wanted to delete in the first place. I set it to delete only replies (unchecked "tweets" and checked "replys" (sic)), but it deleted my top-level tweets too. What sense does it make to have a checkbox "tweets" you can uncheck, but still delete top-level tweets, which are not replies, because "replys" is checked? There's no preview of what it will delete or option to approve on a case-by-case basis as I've previously seen in other tweet deletion systems, it just starts bulk deleting whatever it guesses you meant to indicate with its unclear interface. It doesn't even what it's deleting so you can stop it and limit the damage. You only see that it doesn't work the way you thought it did when the job's done and your stuff is already gone forever.

Won't work properly on Opera and Chrome. It started out nicely, but at certain point, it would just ignore my retweets and responses, randomly delete just 1 of those and close the window on which it was operating. Any fixes to this?

did something happen in yesterdays update? this tool used to work great for me but no longer finds or deleted any tweets when i tried using it today

Worked as intended initially, but encountered an irreversible critical bug. When deleting "retweets," the extension would un-highlight the retweet, but the retweet remains on the timeline. If you manually try to "retweet and unretweet," it temporarily removes it... until you refresh or open the same page in a new tab/window. The retweet (even without the highlighted marker), still remains on your timeline; unable to be removed. At all. What should I do?!

even subscribed to premium version and binded the license but it stopped deleting tweets after deleting 1.5k tweets and started showing me "twitter API rate limit has been exceeded. try again later". pls explain why is this happening and what am i to do?

Stopped working again. One of the best tools when it is working.

Worked perfectly... or so I thought? I ran it once and saw zero tweets anywhere on my profile. Checked back today it basically only deleted the past two years worth of tweets. Tried running it again and after an hour it crashed my Chrome. Now whenever I run it it opens Twitter and then closes. Doesn't work anymore at all.

It doesn't work.. I use the latest version of Google Chrome and this extension does not work, it does not delete any tweet.

It worked up to a point. It won't delete anything before 2023.
