Live Start Page - Living Wallpapers

Hello, I have been having an issue for a very long time, Amazon .co .uk kept sending me to Amazon .pl, not good if you do not speak Polish, but anyway, today I had some time to dig deeper into the problem and found out it was this extension, Live Start Page, causing the issue, Speed Dial [FVD] has no problem and the browsers I use without Live Start Page enabled, Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Before you say check my apps on my PC, I did, I even reinstalled Windows 11 from fresh just incase, like I said today I finally found the problem with Live Start Page, is this an issue I have found, can you please check the code to see why it is happening? Backgrounds don't work with any browsers VERY BAD APP I WILL NEVER RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION

can't set google as default search engine in the free version. without google search this extension is just useless

Either it can't let you put your own live wallpapers or the option was just too well hidden for me to find it.

Microsoft now saying this app extension contains malware. Shame because I liked it, but now I may have to uninstall.

Took 2 months worth of premium payment out of my credit card and I can't access any of the premium features. They won't email me back or anything either. Stay away from this. Plus they take over your browser. Beware.

I've been using this for years and never had a problem until yesterday. All of my favorites VANISHED .. and this extension is ALSO going to VANISH from my computer after I've finished this review.

I've never had problems with this site for years but wow so many problems lately. can't load it on one of my laptops, the one it does work on keeps showing an ad at the top i have to close, rarely shows the weather, i have to cclick to "show weather" when it was already set to always show weather. also won't hold my zip code which MATTERS because thie zip it insists on showing, 5 miles from here, has drastically dif weather than we do 'feedback' page on your site: lol.. can't even click the "send email" for the feed back page.. that is priceless icing on the cake

Dials bookmarks issues and 'Pulling up your data' window keeps popping-up after extension update Hello, I've been using 'Live Start Page' for several years, but since the latest update, my dials and groups keep disappearing - after restarting the browser, opening a new tab, etc. - and a 'Pulling up your data' window appears. I wait for the 'Pulling up your data' process to finish, but after a few minutes or hours, the same thing happens: my dials disappear, and the 'Pulling up your data' window appears and runs as if there's a problem.

Initially I was quite impressed. Minimal design, soothing live wallpapers, meditation music, what's not to like? A complete disdain of your customers, and no accountability for the resources you use on their machines. Suddenly....every..thing......is .....sloooooww These figures may seem like gobbledegook to you if you don't code. So imagine you just filled your car, or got your groceries or maybe a haircut. Now we all recently get inflation, but Imagine now over night this costs you not twice as much, but 5 or even 10 times as much, and you're to blame for not checking the small print. separate concurrent running processes 2⃣00,000 in mem footprint, that's 2⃣0,000 in GPU and 3⃣0,000 for javascript Even that might get a pass if a kid had made this in her bedroom, or it was a start up or something. But no, it's a commercial rag that wants to charge you for more of this pain. I've Given this 1* for a few reasons, first of all support stinks, I bought the premium version so i could use google as the search engine, there is NO OPTION TO CHANGE THIS, so i contacted support they said did you click on search in the settings area (Duh now why didn't I think of that, being sarcastic), that was the last i heard from them at this point i wanted to give a decent review and i asked the question will this be resolved because i wnt to give this a decent review (thank god i didn't)next I reset my pc as i download loads of wordpress plugins and it soon bogs down my pc with stray files here, there and everywhere, before i did i did a backup of my bookmarks and settings, reinstalled and did restore for live start pages not a bookmark in sight, the premium version does however offer nimbus notes which is quite awesome and had i got a reply from support regarding the search engine and i had the confidence to report an obvious bug in the restoring of bookmarks this review could have been very different support is a fundamental part of ANY company offering services on the web and these guys just dont cut it.

I loved that add-on until its creators had the very bad idea to force me to unlock themes with Facebook or Twitter, and then to give my feedback about that add-on. Now, I hate it ! So congratulations to them for the worst idea they could ever have ! They lost a fan !

luv this live/animated wallpaper chrome extension BUT... chrome has disabled this theme and labeled it 'may have been corrupted'!!! chrome also provides links to remove from chrome as well as an option to 'repair' it... hmmmmmmm! I've repaired it and hoping this keeps my data/privacy safe... who knows???

Still no google search and I am using chrome so it will have to go. I used to have a google and yahoo search on this and now its all gone so bye bye

These people stole from me, I don't even have this extension and never approved for them to take money from my account. Refused to issue a refund even though they had no proof I even used the service. BEWARE!

Restricted from designing how you want it too look. not enough variety

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OPTION TO REMOVE THE SEARCH BAR?! We had the option up until 1/29/2019. I understand you want to increase usage of the the LSP Bar, but it uses Yahoo! for results?! Besides, Chrome users use the address bar to search anyway. I'm removing this from Chrome until you give me the option to shut-off the Search Bar. I loved the extension, but the Search Bar has to go. Why would you release an update, that REMOVES a capability from your users? Typically, updates more capabilities. Bad move.

I have never installed or even looked for anything similar. Yet, I have seen two times that this app is installed and I have to uninstall it. I will randomly get a new tab that opens saying "Wecome to livestartpage!" ... malware app

I only installed this to write a review. Read carefully what it is this program wants permissions to do you in your name, on websites you visit! READ CAREFULLY!! is a moving desktop really worth giving them almost total control over your online life??
