Background Pro lets you give every website its own vibe. Pick a color in the popup and apply it instantly to the current page — or reuse the same look across your favorite sites. What you can do • Choose a background color and apply it to the current tab with one click. • Optionally follow the same color across all tabs for a consistent mood. • Save site-specific themes so your favorite pages always open with your chosen background. • Quickly search your saved sites and re-apply their colors. • Enjoy a clean, modern UI that makes experimenting with colors fun. How it works • When you click “Apply”, Background Pro injects a small script into the active tab to update document.body styles (background color and related styling). • Saved colors and sites are stored using Chrome’s storage APIs on your device (and Chrome sync if enabled). • No browsing history, page content, or personal data is collected or sent to external servers. Privacy • No analytics, tracking pixels, or ads. • No personal or sensitive data collection. • All data (colors, saved sites, preferences) is used only to provide the background-theming features.
