Ad Blocker: Stands AdBlocker

Caused youtube to repeatedly crash. White screens instead of videos, constantly made it so "content is not available" displayed for ALL shorts, and literally ruined the usability of several sites. Worst ad-blocker I've ever used. ALSO, it will NOT let you turn off the notifications it displays in the bottom right corner randomly. If you select "disable" it literally reenables it instantly. Really scummy.

CENSORSHIP! In the beginning, I still tolerated the blocking of minor sites (torrents, movies, games, news) as their share did not exceed 20% of the content I viewed, but blocking the harmless cinematic award Oscar for 1980 year was the last straw that overwhelmed the cup of patience.

First time when i installed this extesion everything was fine, now isn't blocking all the ads and sometimes Chrome is crashing because of this! I guess all the good reviews are fake.

It slows down Chrome by 60%, just crazy drop in performance. You can check it on your own with Speedometer 3.1

Tried using it on You Tube and every time I click on a video I get "This content isn't available, try again later" on the screen.

Crashes twitch streams and gives error 2000.

Doesn't work for twitch.tv or other sites that track whether their ads are being blocked or not. Therefore useless.

Some site still have ad even after manual blocking them, and even just go to the next page on same web or just re-flesh/re-open the ad kept pop-up, useless.

It breaks a lot of sites. I have to disable it all the time to get anything to work and I still see ads everywhere.

Got it to see if this blocks ads from Twitch. It does, but it does so by blocking the player entirely. You get no ads, and you get no stream to watch as well. Literally gives me a "There was a network error. Please try again. (Error #2000)" as an error on the player unless I click the toggle to turn off the ad blocking. Then the player reloads starting the ads up. Twitch re-rolls streams with ads when you first join. If I click the switch to block ads for twitch it just disables the player yet again. Kind of makes this extension worthless to me as that is the main reason I was looking to use it.

I am annoyed because it blocks everything else, not only the boring Youtube ads, and I can't enable them (I've already marked the switch to function only on Youtube, uselessly, it starts to block any website and I can't unblock them).

This app currently has a very serious bug that caused me issues and a lot of frustration. I belive this will be an issue impacting many users who havent yet figured out the cause. This app has specific logic in it for outlook.com/msn.com. It tries to be clever to suppress microsofts new thing of displaying an add that looks like an email at the top of the inbox. The app is false flagging REAL EMAILS and hiding them! This is 100% absolutely confirmed. Flight itineries, boading passes, shopping order confirmations hidden. You refresh the view and the email appears for a second then disappears. I spent ages removing all view settings and rules but no effect. Whitelisted the website and immediately fixed. This could lead to massive issues. Remove or correct this special logic used on OWA.

It blocks Twitch ads, but the player will stop working. It returns an error instead. So the ad blocker is useless.

Works horrible on Twitch when an Ad plays the whole screen goes black and doesnt comes back after the ad I should be able to keep watching the stream and not a black screen. As of 11/18/2025 it is still not working right when ads play the video recorder on twitch stops and the screen goes black till the ads are done

it allows elements on a page to redirect. Requires manual removal of redirecting element.

Always been a hassle to use this extension. It won't whitelist sites that you tell it to and is completely unusable

this did not work for me at all, it kept showing that it had blocked ads, but I kept seeing ads on YouTube, prime video, etc. the frequency of ads were the same. don't install this ad blocker there are plenty of blockers that actually work.

The positive reviews lie, this ad blocker don't work on Twitch but says it works on Twitch???

This does not work at all. What I recommend is using another adblocker, because I keep constantly getting ads despite having the adblocker. By giving it a 1 star I am being generous, if their was an option for 0 stars I would pick that, that's how bad this adblocker is.

If you turn it off, it proceeds to spam you with pop ups consistently every 2-3 mins. It's worse than the ads. When an adblockers needs an blocker for itself bc its just as bad as the ads. Everything else is fine, but I turn my adblocker off frequently. I'm not gonna sit here clicking keep it off 1000 times a day. I've had to dismiss the pop up at least 20 times(lost count) this morning alone. That's over 20 times in less than 4 hours
