Streak Email Tracking for Gmail

The privacy concerns with this company are crazy. I'm flabbergasted that people will give this company a level of access to their account that I have yet to see any other company request. To use their email tracker they require every single one of these permissions to be agreed to: - Read, compose, send, and permanently delete ALL your email from Gmail. - See, edit, create, and delete ALL of your Google Drive files. - See, edit, download, and permanently delete your contacts. - See, edit, share, and permanently delete ALL the calendars you can access using Google Calendar. Most software will only ask for what they need. They require everything possible from your Google Account they can get. They not only ask for access to only the Drive files and folders you create through the app, but ALL your Drive files (I have many sensitive personal documents in mine). They don't say anywhere that they won't read your emails or put your emails on their servers. They take all of your contacts data as well. Hard pass.

What a scam. It doesn't even turn on in the Gmail.

I didn't work. I could not see the tracker.

The free version only shows the first time it has been opened, despite the fact the advertisements I saw before downloading it showed that it tracked all the history of openings. It adds all these extra labels to my Gmail, which I don't want and I can't get rid of them. I normally work with my Gmail on 1/2 my screen and have other pages open I'm working on. However, when I do that the orange Streak icon at the top of my Gmail screen is in the way of me using the normal Gmail icons (like the trash icon, etc.). I have two free email trackers I am using right now to compare the two. Streak is much slower in indicating when an email has been opened - right now my other tracker shows me one of my emails was opened 6 hours ago, Streak still isn't reflecting it's been opened. In list view for Gmail, I can click on an icon and immediately see the tracking history. With Streak I have to open each individual email and then click on the eye icon before I can see the history (meaning I have to take an extra step with Streak). I am disappointed with Streak.

All for what? To track emails? Brave new world, I would say.

I honestly liked it and it has been performing well so far, but, but why does the streak updates keep appearing ontop of the screen and hide my email content I cannot remove it.

Yeah, this doesn't work anymore. Are devs checking this to fix it, when will fix be ready?

I am not happy with email tracking at all! I have the free edition and after the 200+ emails the ''eye'' doesnt apear when sent an email...I tried to solve my problem with the streak support team. I recieved one single reply and wasn't helpful.Now i must keep the streak to see what emails are opened till the point of crush to make the follow up emails. That's my experience with the streak.

Minimal utility if you send to multiple recipients. It just says "Total Views" and if it can get the location. That is not very helpful when there are multiple recipients.

I've been using this extension for over a year. My only complaint is that as of late, even though it shows it's active in a message I'm sending, it will not track the email...Trying to figure that out.

Streak is missing some important features. The function of the location of the recipients is missing, the function of the devices used is missing, especially on Gmail addresses.
