Description

In Chrome 51, Chrome's Classic Theme turned gray on Windows and Linux. This theme brings back the blue colors from Chrome 50. Unlike the other "Classic blue theme" extension in the Chrome Web Store, this extension does not change any other style, so you will get the modern classic theme - i.e. Chrome 50's Classic Theme. Update (version 2): Use a subtle gradient instead of a single color to look identical to the default theme of Chrome 50 on Linux/Windows. Now the theme also works on macOS.

My screen was blue, they came up with a "new chrome" and now the screen is white and it hurts my eyes. Thought this might turn the screen black to blue, but it didn't. No use to me.

Not sure if it's an issue with the way chrome works on mac, but it didn't turn out like what was shown in the screenshots. The tabs turned blue, with the background still grey. :-\

Sadly this didn't revert my Google Chrome back to having non-rounded address bar, nor did it fix the the tabs. I realise that the author didn't specifically state that it would do either of those things, which is why I have given 3 stars because 'It is OK' - it just doesn't match the picture (which is obviously of a pre-69 version). It would look really nice if Chrome itself didn't now look like a bad 'Apple' - but that of course is a matter of personal taste, and I encourage readers of this review to install the extension for themselves, to see if it suits your own, before dismissing it.
