Xhancer is a productivity extension that upgrades the X (formerly Twitter) web experience. It helps you save and manage your own data (bookmarks, lists, posts), add rich remarks to users, browse media more easily, and access power features like advanced search—while keeping your synced data in your browser’s local database. Whether you’re collecting references, organizing accounts, or just want a smoother browsing workflow, Xhancer brings a set of lightweight enhancements directly into X/Twitter. # Key features - Local archive & management Sync and manage Lists, Bookmarks, and Posts. All synced data is stored in your browser’s local database (note: uninstalling the extension will remove local data). - Browsing time tracking Track your time spent browsing X for personal insight. - Media viewer View tweets in a dedicated viewer and download images/videos. - Video download shortcut Adds a download entry or button for videos and opens a downloader site with the tweet URL (when you choose to download). - Smarter “@ mention” suggestions (Pinyin support) Saves your following list locally, generates Pinyin for Chinese display names, and improves mention suggestions. - Page enhancements Auto “show more”, expand replies, display bookmark counts, and a few playful visual easter eggs. - Drafts enhancement Quick access to your X drafts from the composer toolbar. - Search enhancement Adds an Advanced Search button on /explore and quick “search from this user” entry from profile popovers. - Remarks (notes) & tags Add custom nicknames, colored tags, bio notes, and (for eligible users) avatars for any account. - Multi-account support Keeps synced data separated per X account; remarks/tags are shared. - Built-in dashboard & settings View stats, manage tags/remarks, backup/import/export, toggle features on/off, and multi-language support. # Privacy & data Local-first: synced archive data is stored locally in your browser database.
