Download Manager

I really needed this because some of my downloads fail repeatedly and I needed a notification every time it happens. It works on the first couple of download fails, but if you have several repeated fails, it will simply stop notifying you after a couple times. Worse yet—it will crash your Chrome. And when you reopen Chrome, you will get a million notifications of all the ones that it didn't send initially. I've waited months to see if an update would fix it but it's still the same buggy mess.

Chrome keeps on freezing since I've installed this. Clearly I'm not the only one this is happening to. Good idea, unusable under its current state.

Freezes chrome on start-up if you have many downloads. It also freezes chrome sometimes while the browser is running.

it locks the browser until the download is complete.

Pinned extension is really help but the count badge is not working, often I clean up all download there is still show green count badge that show still download history in list. Please add option to clean up or refresh count badge, otherwise it's very annoying.

pause & delete are not working. no notify.

As you can read in my reply to an older review on this page: At some point it slows down my Chrome Browser, consuming every bit of RAM while trying to download all Files at once that has already been downloaded. It happens again after a few days, when in reinstalled this extension. I am always lucky to get into the extension Window to deactivate this extension,- for accessing my Browser again. This happened already three times in 10 days.

It's okay. It did it's job much like how I'm used to on other browsers like Firefox. It has the best UI out of all the others I've seen. But even after clearing downloads history, it still shows the numbers in red on the icon corner (for errors), and the tab list still has the history...both of which does not go away. So I have no idea why it still wants to remember that info when my browser itself doesn't after clearing it. I see no other way to clear the history or get rid of the red numbers on the icons, so I had to uninstall and keep looking for an alternative download manager.

It shows download notifications and has an optional dark mode, BUT: - when the download is complete, I only can choose between opening the folder where the file was downloaded and the deletion of the file - but not to open the file; if I click on the file extension icon on the notification, then the notification disappears and nothing happens instead of opening the file - popup window doesn't show file size and file date for completed downloads - file extension icons are shown delayed

ok for me the original website limited speed as 70MB folder need to download with 2 hours this cutted half like an hour not the best to me failed back to 2 hours

Love the design but when you boot chrome it freezes untill the extention has finished loading

This is a good extension it has high speeds and very easy to use BUT it eats so much ram and makes google chrome super slow it also redownloads all of my files on my computer and is really annoying. please fix this.
