I DON'T WANT AI SHOVED DOWN MY THROAT! Please improve the other extension that did simple things like let me add emails or websites to a task. That's it! Installing this juggernaut of an AI slop-fest on my browser doesn't do me any good, and I have a hard time seeing what it has to do with the task list that I keep in ClickUp (which it's very good at!). If I ever want AI permeating everything, then I'll come here. But right now I just want simple access to my task manager.
Doesn't work on Arc browser! Arc is a Chromium-based browser with a substantial user base, and most Chrome extensions can be installed and used on it. This suggests developers have properly considered Arc's infrastructure. However, after successfully installing this extension and completing the setup process, I discovered that the "Add to Clickup" button doesn't function in Arc. Clickup dev team CAN solve this: 1. Provide a fallback UI that isn't dependent on the side panel Consider using alternative surfaces like an Action popup (toolbar button) that appears automatically when chrome.sidePanel is unavailable. This would be ideal for quick controls, settings, and small workflows, with your extension icon opening a popup interface. 2. Detect Arc and check for side panel support Rather than relying solely on "Arc detection," check whether the chrome.sidePanel API exists. If it's available, enable sidebar mode; if not, display your fallback UI. This approach ensures compatibility across different browsers and configurations. Can you we get this on Arc now please. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I’ve tried using this extension in Arc, but it doesn’t seem to work for me. I’ve read other comments that suggest it’s not intended for Arc, but I’ve never had any issues installing or using other Chrome extensions in Arc over the past two years, even though I’ve exclusively used it as my work browser. I would appreciate it if you would consider Arc users in your future development. I’ve been a Clickup user for nearly a decade and I genuinely wish I could use this highly anticipated and overdue extension. It’s unfortunate that you don’t seem to be considering the needs of all your users in your “forward-thinking” approach. Arc is here to stay, and many users prefer its calming and aesthetically pleasing interface over the cluttered and clunky mess of Chrome.
It doesn't work on Arc Browser - the floating buttons appear, and that's all. None of the buttons are clickable, neither the floating ones nor the Gmail contextual "Add to..." :(((
Well, Gmail broken in here too. Ridiculous. Old Gmail option gone. now i must abuse AI to create simple tasks... what an absolute BS. Clickup is one of the tools showing the downside of AI in a perfect way...
Takes to me a "Continue with email" page and the "Continue" button is greyed out / unclickable.
Doesn't work in gmail... puts that "add to click up" button in every email and then it doesnt have access to the email. Pretty useless. Starts with: "To create a task from your email, I need to know which list you’d like to put the new task in. Here are some commonly used lists you might want to choose from:" Ok... Creates a task with: "This task was created from an email related to "XYZ." Key details: Source: Email (Inbox) No additional email body content was provided. If there are specific action items, dates, or sender information, please update this task with those details once available."
I can clearly see that this is an absolutely excellent extension for everyday use. However, I encountered several significant issues. When attempting to open chats, select models such as GPT 5.1, and submit a prompt, the tab and the extension would crash entirely, forcing me to restart the browser. I also experienced additional problems, including blank screens when trying to return to those chats.
Bummer that it does not work on Arc. As that is all I use. It SHOULD work on Arc since Arc is a Chromium browser... So that is weird.. Not worth going back to Chrome for this app, even though it seems great. Hope they can integrate it into Arc soon.
This seems to work well in Wavebox (Chromium) except it replaces your new tab page. Disabling the setting forces the new tab to the Google search home page. Disabling the app fixes the issue. Disappointing I need to choose between my custom new tab page and using this extension.
