Paid for the Pro version. Unfortunately despite having many exact copies of the same image, this program always tells me no duplicates found.

Idea is great, but it does not function! Before buying PRO , I wanted to at least see that it does something.. I tried both Chrome and Edge extensions, both on full photo set and on a single album. The absolute latest version. Every time it performs the scan and when the scan finished I get the message : There is another scan in progress running for 0 seconds. Obviously there is not, and the 0 seconds time kind of gives it away as a bug.

Good for cleaning up 2 duplicates after looping through all your photos - without buying you have to dumb select the limited 2 sets of duplicates. And hit the thank you button as if this would have been the job done.

I have nearly 10K photos stored and I'm certain I have duplicates. The extension has never found a single one.

So, After reading some reviews I decided to try it anyway. The developer is really good at gaslighting those that disagree with him I noticed-so fully expecting it here. The extension is ok, its by far not great and at best mildly useful, if you have a whole lot of time. I did not do the paid version, as the free version was so lackluster that I was not going to risk the paid version being about the same, or not much better. It did find some duplicates, but made it more trouble than it was worth to delete the duplicates it did find, and sent me looking for another app to do it. Having to click on the photo link (to go into google photos to the actual photo), then manually delete it, then go back to the search, yeah too much wasted time.

Well, this isn't very useful extension, this extension was exactly one I was looking for but after scanning it only gave me few photos option to delete and asking for pro version. That made me frustrated because it's useless if you can't delete more than few images where I wanted hundreds of images to delete.

This doesn't work with large libaries 5,000+ photos videos but the developer purposely doesn't note this in his description. When you ask for a refund he says it's a known problem with Google photos. If it's a known problem maybe you should let people know before you buy it you douche.

A few days ago, I tested the free version of Google Photos Duplicate Remover and for now the 3 stars rating is for the free version as it successfully found duplicates. It ran smoothly and gave me an overview of the duplicates it found at the end. However, considering the size of my image collection and the number of duplicates, it was too tedious for me to delete each image individually. So today I bought the Pro version and, as recommended, selected one month/year with 538 images in my case, mainly because I know that there are many duplicates in this period. Duplicate RemoverPhotos does not find a single duplicate. I adjusted the similarity percentage several times, but always with the same result: no duplicates. Very disappointing, because now I'm back where I started. I have about 15,000 images in Google Photos, many of which are duplicates, and I would like to organize them. Unfortunately, none of this works. The only thing that works reliably is the slider - Hide similar images in the Google Photos app (mobile). Unfortunately, this doesn't give me any storage space back. I'm a bit frustrated but still open for suggestions. Maybe the error is sitting in front of the computer. lol
