History Cleaner Pro by HVS

Ever tried deleting a specific set of items from your Chrome history and realized you have to tick each checkbox one at a time? I built **History Cleaner Pro** because I ran into this problem myself and wanted a faster way to handle it. History Cleaner Pro adds a simple but missing feature to Chrome history management: the ability to select everything at once after running a search. You search for a keyword, select the results in one click, and delete them immediately. ## What This Extension Does 1. Select All for History Searches Type a keyword such as “youtube,” “amazon,” or “localhost,” run the search, and click “Select All.” All matching entries are instantly highlighted. 2. Precise Control You are not forced to delete everything. Select all results, then uncheck any individual links you want to keep. You stay in control of what gets removed. 3. Fast Deletion The extension uses Chrome’s built-in history API to remove only the items you choose. The process is quick and happens directly inside your browser. 4 .Simple Interface No clutter. No unnecessary menus. No ads. The popup is designed to do one job clearly and efficiently. 5. No Background Drain The extension runs only when you open it. Once you close the popup, it does nothing in the background and does not consume system resources. ## Privacy Commitment Your browsing history is personal. This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. * All actions happen locally in your browser. * No external servers are contacted. * No analytics or tracking tools are included. * No personal information is collected. The “History” permission is required by Chrome so the extension can read your search results and delete the entries you select. It cannot access passwords, form data, or monitor keystrokes. ## How to Use 1. Pin the extension to your Chrome toolbar. 2. Click the icon and enter a keyword in the search field. 3. Click “Select All” (if needed), adjust any individual selections, and press Delete.
