Url Shortener for Google Chrome™

Used to be great, now it’s unusable. This tool now hijacks redirects with a 9-second ad preview page. It’s no longer the efficient tool it used to be. Deleting and finding an alternative.

Incorrectly reports "?url-parms" as "INVALID URL" (when, in fact, they aren't invalid). Sometimes it takes too long to "load" a shortened URL. (Spins & reports "Loading ... ") Including the HTTPS:// in a shortened URL only makes it longer

This extension takes forever to generate a shortened link. Someone needs to revisit the code.

It never worked. ... I installed it again and again... never did the job... just waiting and waiting ... a real waste of time

I've installed, uninstalled, and re-installed. It still doesn't work. I thought maybe it was just slow (as other reviews stated), but over two minutes later it is still spinning.

This extension constantly fails to load. It was good at one time but unfortunately is useless now.

This extension used to work fine. It no longer does. It just thinks and thinks and thinks, but never gives a shortened URL anymore. I uninstalled it.

it takes a LONG time to generate a shortened link. WAY too long. I'll update my rating if I find this was a one-time anomaly, but right now it's unusasble.

Pretty nice extension, but it's not creating a QR code for the shortened URL, which is the main reason I installed it.

Works well but I don't like the UI, so I created an extension that lets you shorten and copy URLs without a popup: URL Shortener - TinyURL Extension. Let me know how it works for you

I echo Giulia Melilli comments; Useful, but very slow and sometimes doesn't work. If you change the panel, you gotta start again: so you have to just stare at it hoping that it's actually working and not stuck. Have not tried the website

processing speed is somewhat slow

Doesn't copy the URL to the clipboard automatically. You need to find the icon inside the popup and then click on that, which is just annoying. I want it to automatically copy the short URL to the clipboard when I click the icon on the toolbar (and never see the big popup with the QR code).

It is okay but SHort url should be more short. for eg.'https://tinyurl.com/y4a99ku6' becomes too long for share and who will call this a short link. I put my opinions. Thank you.
