Did not work for 3 hour vimeo video.

Once I figured out how to download the video it would only download as a web file, not a video file.

Straight up did not work. Maybe I'm dumb though

No options to save/download video after clicking 'stop sharing,' it just... stops. Download folder empty. Three attempts, settings triple-checked, can't find anything in help regarding this. Glad it works for some but I wish I was one of them.

Unfortunately, the version installed (August 2024) does not match the screenshots, and the option to record screen and camera is not available - it is one or the other, which is not as shown.

why cant these recorders ever be simple. Just click record and it records? No you gotta click share and then who knows whatthe*&%k happens I came back to change it from 2 stars to 1 star.

Useless update! It worked so good until now. Uninstalling it!

Um... your update ruined the app guys. It no longer works. There is no recording, nothing saves anywhere, countdown doesn't show, nothing. It no longer does screen recordings. When you fix it I will bump this back to 5-stars (because prior to the update it was definitely a 5-star app). Also, I noticed the "Record System Audio" is permanently checked... I hope you don't plan on leaving it that way because that will also be an automatic uninstall for me.

Doesn't work. Spend a long time figuring out how to grant access to the microphone. After that I thought I was ready and I click on the window I want to share and nothing happens. Nothing. It just says "screenrecorder i sharing a window". Then I go to the screen recorder extension and click "record desktop" and then it opens the same window where I can select what area I awant to share (tab, window or entire screen). Then I click "window". Again. Nothing happens. I retur to the record screen extension, and all the options I have i still onle "record desktop". And clicking that brings me back to the window where I can choose the area I want to record. Damn....

Whatever you updated really sucks now and app is becoming unusable, it was more of silent in background now it creates tabs etc Interface is annoying. RIP was a great little app SMH

You broke it. Best feature is gone. Terrible interface. Doesn't even work.

Everything was perfect, until one day screen recording started to record 4K video at 60 fps, but of very low quality. BTW my screen is only 1080p.

It wont display picture for Area.

The videos don't play. the file extension is .webm not .mp4. therefore you have to convert the videos. Don't bother installing this rubbish!

it broke my speakers it made them stop working and i had to power wash my laptop what ever you do do not download this app

After a one and a half hour tab recording, it threw a network error and I can't recover really crucial info that I was screen grabbing. Is there a way to recover files that have been recorded?

This extension doesn't work!!! I'm on Slax, my browser is Chromium, and when I stop the recording, it doesn't save! What is the point of a screen recorder if you can't even view or do anything with what you have recorded. That's right, NOTHING!!!

I was in a middle of an online concert, it was around one hour of my recording and I was just clicking on stop but I was late and the message came the recorder has crashed and my whole recording was gone. The recording meant sooo much to me, but it was gone in a second. No option of saving the file came. I will be very glad if I get my file back.

Although it has potential, it is not reliable yet, and therefore worthy of just one star. Both Yesterday, February 8th 2022, and Today, it failed me with recordings over 2 hours long.

Didn't work - as in, making false claims to have no recording limit. Tested on 2min and it worked, attempted on 1 hour and no file was released - no error, nothing else, just nothing. Will definitely be uninstalling. Tell the truth about your limitations.

Horrible app! I recorded a 24min video and it was showing this information on the extension icon normally. But then, I finished the recording and the outcome was a 3:34 video! More than 20 minutes of the video became garbage! What a waste of time!

When I tried to record, it was very laggy. I dont reccomend this to people who want to record smooth videos on a chromebook.

Recorded a 1 hour video. Failed to download. Video is gone forever. What a waste of time.

absolutely terrible! the point of a screen recorder is to record your screen... this just puts a black image. don't download.

I was trying to screen record an edit I made to post it on my YT channel, the audio was alright, but it doesn't give me the video, it just gives me a black screen

HATED IT I tryed to use this for my YT but when i started I did a test run and all i saw was BLACK, I allowed it to use my camera but the white dot on the top of my computer wasn't even on ( the dot indicates the camera is on) ITS SUCKS
