I can't figure out how to use the viewer or how to uninstall it. I do not recommend.
This doesn't work
Once installed you cannot un-install this extension!!
really hard to remove, wasted more than a hour, should be marked as malware at this point
Faffy, displays in negative by default, no measuring or manipulation tools
Unusable on our scans. Hopeless.
too many ads. difficult to remove
doesn't open actual DICOM images. Only samples.
It is useless-only its name suggests dicom viewing but anything other than sample files it cannot open.Does not do what it says on tin.Do not waste your time.
Doesn't work - Unable to open any of the 3 different, known good DICOM (*dcm) files I attempted.
Can't locate it or get it to open medical dicom files. When I click open, the ony choice is app store. where i it & how do you use it. I gave it permissions & even mad it default, Crazy designers.
Very difficult to remove. Does not show up in the extension list as an installed app.
Not much here, but it will dig into some DICOM files and pull out the JPEG for you. That's about it.
It does work, but the biggest limitation is that it will only open one image at a time. As a reviewer alluded to below, this is not enjoyable with US/MRI/CT
Being a PACS admin, I was hopeful for a simple DICOM viewer. While it does "View" DICOM files, it only allows viewing the actual file. This means you have to drill down to the actual folder the image sits, which could be 4 or 5 folders deep. It only allows you to view the 1 image, no ability to scroll to the next view. So for plain film CR/DR images, it's almost fine, most substantive exams are CT/MR/US/NM and this viewer is horrible. What would be advantageous is the option to open the DICOMDIR file which would allow you to open an outside CD without using the viewer on the CD (which is hit or miss for usefulness). Having to perform a mini-training session for every different CD from an outside facility, is a pain. Standardizing the viewer on my current budget ($0) was/is my goal.
This app is not very usable in it's current implementation. There is not enough instruction or explanation in the help section to make it functional. Would like to use it to save Key MRI and CT images but I am currently only able to get look at each image individually... I also am unable to get it to recognize dicomdir files and get the following error when trying to load them: Error: missing Dicom image number of columns
