Description

Enhance your Reddit experience with Reddit Enhancer! A browser extension that allows you to customise your Reddit page with just a few clicks. Supports the Old and Latest versions of Reddit. With Reddit Enhancer, you can: • Resize the feed and post width for a better viewing experience. • Customise theme colours and add a background wallpaper. • Hide promoted and recommended posts, as well as reddit premium ads. • Hide numerous other elements you don't use or want to see for a cleaner and less cluttered interface. • Open images in a new tab on their own directly, rather than being embedded on a page. • Scale tall images to fit within the post, or add a scrollbar to see the full width of the image and just scroll to see more. • Scroll to the next root comment with a click of a button. • Enable Bionic Reading for posts and comments, and/or change the font size, for faster and easier reading. • Show the missing post author on the latest version of Reddit. • And much more! See support site for a full list of features. *not all features support both versions of Reddit. How To Use: 1. Install the add-on. 2. Visit reddit.com 3. Click on Reddit Enhancer in Extensions menu in the Chrome toolbar. 4. Enable the features you want :) This add-on is not affiliated or endorsed by Reddit. This add-on does not collect data and respects users' privacy. Updates to the Reddit site may break this extension in the future, please open an issue if you encounter any bugs, or have any new feature suggestions. I welcome any translation help if you would like to contribute towards improving and/or adding new translations. See website link in the Additional Information section.

I got it for one thing only, to have my feed default to 'new'. Couldn't do it.

Uninstalling Reads browsing history and i don't trust that.

Read and change your browsing history on all your signed-in devices? No reason to need this don't believe excuses the dev gives malware plain and simple.

The extension no longer works at all when enabled and will not load/work at all until it's disabled. Will correct score when and if fixed.

Sadly the "old new UI" stopped working even when I'm logged in.

I love the features of this extension as it makes Reddit much more usable with how horrible the latest Reddit layout is. But can you *PLEASE* fix the CONSTANT refreshes for no reason that have led to several lost comments already. I love this extension but I have to keep it disabled for now as this issue makes it unusable for me.

Was it tested before the update? The “resize feed” changes don’t seem the same anymore, posts are now unreadable with the same parameter. Various bugs such as post buttons don’t work, UI elements (for example join buttton) are squared instead of rounded, also the comment buttons look very bad without icons...

was PERFECT until the update after reddit removed new.reddit.com. now, it refreshes the page half the time after i scroll down ( for whatever reason also refreshing other open windows or tabs i have active ), and doesnt let me directly open subreddits through urls, giving me a redirect error and forcing me to search for them through the ui. all of this only happening with this extension on, after the update. will definitely use it again after these bugs are fixed since the customization is amazing, but until then, id rather put up with default reddit

damn, i hate the new new ui. anyway, the "Show Post Flair on the Home Feed" option doesn't work? also why is this extension keep refreshing my page randomly?

Very intuitive but highly unstable and causes lots of input lag.

Is there anyway I can restore my options, it broke most of my settings after update.

Unfortunately, "Show Post Author" option works strangely. It performs the basic function. But if I do right click on the author's name, the reddit main page just reloads. Also page may reload if I just hover on author's name.

Doesn't exactly give sufficient tools to revert the appearance back to new.reddit.com, and when loading a new page and scrolling, will cause the page to rubberband back to the top then a bit later back down to about where you scrolled.

Pretty good, but a major flaw is that you can't really increase the size of images in your feed. The issue is that, while you can make them wider, you can't make them taller, so it just ends up adding a bunch of padding to the sides without giving you a bigger image. It's weird, since it really feels like an obvious feature, I'm not sure why they don't have it.
