Script Blocker Ultimate (NoScript,Disable JS)

Useless on NYTimes.

I really don't understand how this one got the top rating must be all dishonest reviews. It is not at all easy to use, it has only black and white options allow all or block all. When I use allow but blacklist option gmail nor youtube opens up for sign in even with *.google.com. It would have been a lot easier to list down the sites which run scripts like noscript did and then choose only the ones the user needs. Things don't have be to complicated.

Former ScriptSafe user. Can't say I like this because its interface is too simple! It won't list all the scripts that this website is using, so I cannot enable or block certain sources that are tracking me for Ads on its panel.

After ScriptSafe was discontinued because of their practices i searched an alternative, then i landed on this one. Script Blocker Ultimate seems like a good option especially after getting the "featured" badge from Google. However, the extension isn't necessarily user friendly. I used the "allow all but blacklist," but then I was left to manually type in the scripts that run on browsers.. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO KNOW THAT? ... I had to ask ChatGPT to list me the most common scripts from google and other major sites that track users for Ad purposes. However, now that I have done this, I just have to trust that the scripts are being blocked because the extensions icon doesn't show a counter to let me know the scripts either being blocked or being ran. Beware, this is not user friendly. I don't even know if I can trust this based on the results I am getting. Developer, please update this extension to give me peace of mind and to build trust with other users using this extension for the first time, thank you.

For sure it works. However, when I activate the blocking, it automatically starts blocking scripts on all tabs, even when I click on Allow All.
