Incredibly tired of this ad blocker that is seemingly constantly popping up ads on my screen for adblock premium. Absolutely ridiculous. I'll be finding a new solution.

They really overcomplicated this product. You can add custom rule, where the syntax is not explained but you have to guess. you click add, and the rule is saved somewhere, nowhere to be seen again.

my irritation with Rufus on Amason led me to this extension but I have no idea how to use it to shut down Rufus and can't find any guide. I clicked the icon and see an X and plus sign, clicked on both and nothing happened. I tried some things but got nothing so this is worthless in my opinion.

Breaks YouTube Playback Speed Menu on First Load ..... I really wanted to like uBlock Origin Lite, but it consistently breaks the YouTube settings menu — specifically the Playback Speed options. When I open any YouTube video, the speed controls are missing. They only appear after manually refreshing the page. This happens regardless of browser restarts or cache clears, and even with all other extensions disabled. The issue does not occur with uBlock Origin (full) or other blockers. It appears that Lite’s heuristic filtering is blocking YouTube’s player scripts on initial load. Refreshing every video just to access playback speed makes the extension unusable for YouTube. I hope the developer can address this bug, because otherwise the extension works well.

Interface is very primitive and non-useful, especially custom filters. Support is very hostile, at least on reddit.

It blocks random sites that my teachers use it for, like when I went to Wikipedia to search up "The fall of the Roman Empire", It blocked me. It shows that teachers abuse this app. It is like a very bad app called Blocksi Enterprise Edition. Please take action against this. Plus, this violates the 4th amendment like Blocksi.

inserts adware of its own lol kept redirecting multiple links to ojrq.net.... it stopped after i removed this specific extension lol.

I'm so bummed Chrome has now completely blocked uBlock Origin. Unfortunately uBlock Origin Lite is just awful. It is so slow it's insane. Pages hang while loading and sometimes just never finish loading. There are big empty areas all over the pages where the blocked ads existed. Lots of ads on the sides still show up including auto-play audio & video. I know the folks at uBlock Origin are trying to do the best they can and the blame is 100% on Chrome and Manifest v3. Maybe one day this new extension will work better but for now I'm just giving Google & Chrome the middle finger and switching to Firefox where uBlock Origin still works and is blazingly fast.

If uBlock is banned, I will stop using chrome.

June 2025 The score just mean it's not work for YouTube actually Don't work on YouTube Playlists. Probably YouTube have the eyes on this extension and will do all for never will work. Not sure the developer can do something, because YouTube is a lot bigger that him. And YouTube (well Alphabet witch own Google too and a lot of other, what we call monopoly) make billion of money with ads.

It doesn't have an option to import your whitelisted websites. You have to do it one by one upon each visit if you don't want a particular website from being blocked.

If you want a bearable experience, put this in basic mode and then turn on Adguard. AdPocalypse 2 is coming, and get ready, because it's about to get whole lot shittier.

fix it already lol. You know 9 out of 10 of us are using this for YouTube and it currently doesnt work. Update it or come out and say you're taking the L.
