Misleading Pricing & Bait-and-Switch Scam Extremely misleading service. Their pricing table shows that the $10/mo Pro plan includes Export features, but after I paid and synced my 7,000+ bookmarks, they blocked the export and demanded a yearly subscription or an extra 'Export Pass'. This is a complete scam and a waste of money. Avoid at all costs!"
Would be great if the product actually worked as advertised. Was able to collect my twitter bookmarks but it failed to sync my tiktok favorites. Then, customer support would take several days to respond with no actual solutions. Extremely disappointed.
Caveat emptor. You can download any of your bookmarked content even if you sign up for the monthly 'Pro' package. You'll be presented with the usual 'save with annual billing' toggle but unless you're following carefully you won't notice that switching to monthly billing will lose you key features, such as exporting, Google Sheets and Notion integration (there's no trial, so who would sign up for an annual service without seeing whether it worked for a month first?). First time I've come across this kind of bait and switch and it's not a good look.
not working
The link to connect to instagram is not working. The other links on the Left column (x, linkedin, etc. are working).
Took away alot of features and created a paywall to get them. No longer a good extension. Can't re-sync with bookmarks or download anymore without a subscription. Deleted and removed
The user experience is fundamentally broken. It actually makes organizing harder because it doesn't place tweets into the folders I placed them in on X. So if I'm saving tweets on X on my phone, I then have to one-by-one select each tweet again on Dewey and place them into folder again (no drag and drop). I paid $90 for notion integration, but I got fooled into thinking that all subsequent tweets will be placed in the proper folders as they were when i first imported prior to paying subscription. This is a glaring misstep and I am incredibly disappointed.
Ended up not trusting this app, needed too much personal info behind the scenes from X. Found a much better solution much lower cost. Not for us at all. Hope they delete all our info as we asked.
I've had Dewey since day one. It is a terrible product that is barely functional and it's been nearly two years. The AI tagging does not work at all and to date they still cant’t grab most of your bookmarked tweets. You also don’t get the full tweet if it’s a thread. Just the first tweet. I feels like it was a money grab during elon’s takeover and they took advantage of the chaos and uncertainty to sell a product that is not living up to its promises. Happy to be proven wrong. In the meantime I have looked into alternatives and tweetsmash seems to be the better alternative.
Don't work. I don't understand how to import an html file of bookmarks.
Does not work. It fails to fetch bookmarks. Waste of time.
It only showed me 93 bookmarks out of several thousand
Disappointing that it didn't saved deleted bookmarks
Can't I delete? What is this monopoly?
No way to delete data. Optional archiving to avoid duplicate imports is fine, but not having a way to delete them is a no go.
Not working anymore. What the hell?
Only thing it does better than native Twitter is search. Doesn't export an entire thread, just the first tweet. Also couldn't export all of my bookmarks, only the first 300 bookmarks.
Have an issue where it can't get my bluesky bookmarks which is the main reason I subscribed! It worked fine for twitter but I want support on my bluesky things but the contact link takes me to a blank page!!
the extension seems awesome but the bookmarks i organize don't seem to do so on x. i was kind of hoping to use dewey to organize them and it sync to x. i considered paying but don't want to if i can't do that and it's not clear what exactly the sync feature does aside get your bookmarks in real time. if i move bookmarks to folders i made on x using dewey, why don't they move on x too? willing to adjust my rating but some of the paid features aren't clear and despite being in a free trial, i still can't use all the features available. difficult to tell if i would be willing to purchase tbh.
When i bookmark on X, there's no longer a pop-up window that tells me I added it to dewey so I have to grab all my bookmarks again and it's really annoying. It showed up a few days ago but it's not working.
The free option isn't really an option because of its limitations, especially with pop-ups that you can't close.
how to import the bookmarks? what's the function of the extensions??
Issue with twitter API, cannot grab bookmarks at the moment. So this extension ain't working at all basically.
As a user of your app, I find it incredibly frustrating that I am unable to delete saved tweets without having to pay for a subscription. While I understand that certain features, such as organizing saved tweets, may be rightfully behind a paywall, the ability to simply delete saved tweets should not be one of them. As someone who uses your app frequently, I have saved many tweets over time, some of which are no longer relevant or useful to me. Without the option to delete them, my saved tweets section becomes cluttered and difficult to navigate. This negatively impacts my overall experience with the app. While I would love to take advantage of all the additional features offered through your subscription, it simply is not financially feasible for me at this time. I hope that you will consider making the option to delete saved tweets available to all users, regardless of their subscription status. In conclusion, I believe that allowing users to delete saved tweets without having to pay for a subscription would greatly enhance the user experience of your app. It is a simple and necessary feature that should not be restricted behind a paywall. Thank you for considering my feedback
This doesnt work at all. It didnt save a single bookmark and when I click grab bookmarks it tells me to log in again to use dewey.
Maybe it's because of heavy use right now, but Dewey isn't able to save my bookmarks. It scans all of them, but they don't show up in Dewey, and then it says I need to log into my account. After reloading, I have to scan all of them again, but the bookmarks don't show up anywhere.
It could be due to heavy traffic at the moment, but it just keeps logging out of the extension. When it goes to grab all bookmarks, it takes a minute or so to scan and then it just does nothing.
It doesn't work! I installed it and it worked once for a small number of tweets, but I can't get it to work again. I love the concept. Needs an update.
So close, would be perfect if it worked but seems there's some bugs. Please fix
Honestly disappointed. I was looking for a way to collect different tweets from different accounts and share it with other people and this seemed like the best bet. However, I'm encountering so many problems, it's starting to become more of a nuisance than helpful, and I'm thinking about giving up. - Doesn't seem to show all of my bookmarks. I'm noticing that many are missing. They show up on my Twitter account, but not on Dewey. - Doesn't update in real time, it's a hit or miss, most of the times I have to click constantly on "grab bookmarks" for the bookmarks to be updated on Dewey.
The search function stopped working! It is now only searching for accounts and tags. Why is that?
I installed it but it have hit grab bookmarks multiple times. But it still won't work. Only thing I know is that there are 625 bookmarks that have not been grabbed. It worked for some people.
Didn't save all of my bookmarks; only saved about 150 or so. Also the media doesn't seem to be saved either. With Twitter potentially crashing, I need to save all information from my bookmarks.
Not only did it NOT grab all my bookmarks, there does not appear to be a way to delete a bookmark from dewey. I can archive it, but that seems to be all, and there's no guide on their website on how to remove it, if that's even possible.
Doesn't seem to work on mobile.twitter.com on desktop which is my primary way of using Twitter. had to switch to the desktop site to get the import to work. sorting is a long process but it definitely makes navigating twitter bookmarks easier.
Good idea but buggy. Bookmarks sometimes are duplicated, and new bookmarks aren't automatically added.
Good concept but definitely could use some improvements: 1. Being able to alphabetize collections. I tried doing this but refreshing the page just scrambled them again. 2. Being able to enable/disable hold and drag to organize collections. This would make scrolling through collections a lot less frustrating on mobile. 3. The "search collection" when moving bookmarks doesn't seem to work? It just shows all my collections regardless of what I type
It's a pretty good concept and useful too But there's a bug that I came across. I tried tagging a few bookmarks in bulk but when I created the new tag, all bookmarks that I hadn't selected got tagged and the ones I did select, showed no changes. Please fix this
