Show Apps in new tab

For a long time this was the best solution to chrome removing the apps tab, as of version Version 116.0.5845.97 (Official Build) 8/18/2023 this app is totally broken as chrome removed the flag that allowed it to keep functioning. Seems the creator has abandoned the app as well.

This extension is either hijacking my machine to mine bitcoins or it is written with the most inefficient kind of code. Uses 110% of laptop power when enabled and Chrome is open. This makes absolutely no sense at all, what could it be doing besides its stated function?

Took most of my morning to discover this extension has now started injecting misc ads into my Google search - removed!

It doesn't work when I try to use it, and when I open a new tab all it says is "this site can't be reached. The web-page at chrome://apps/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new address.". It is very annoying and highly disappointing, especially after a review left on april 16, 2018 indicating that it still works

As many have mentioned, the URL bar is no longer highlighted when opening a new tab. I have put up with this for several months, but I can't handle it anymore. I have disabled this extension and won't be using it anymore until it is updated.

Needs to clear the search bar when tabs are open.

Cannot support Chromebook.

Doesn't work on Ubuntu (15.04) + Chrome (Version 51.0.2704.106 (64-bit)). Apps are still being opened as new Window, not as Tab.

you can just type chrome://apps into your search bar for this google feature this app is merely useless except for mildly lazy beings.

Absolute shite. Need to hit backspace to delete the content of the URL bar every time I open a tab. This guy needs to learn to test.

Very very slow loading. Seems like everything is loaded in the background then page is reloaded with apps.

Automagically selecting the URL does not work for the Mac version.

Omnibar NEEDS to be empty. Please it's so annoying like this! I have to uninstall until this is fixed.

Luv the function, hated having to uninstall it because it contained the Superfish/Super Shopper AD Ware

The google icon doesnt actually work

It would be great if url would clear after loading or at least not be in focus, so that clicking it would select all the text. Now I have to select the url or Cmd+a before I can type in the new url.

Misleading Screen short...

Used to be great, but the new design is MUCH worse

I was hoping this extension would restore the app access in a new tab per the description....when i click on the extension it takes me back to the extension page....not what was advertised....so still looking for a solution to restore this feature.

Leaves URL with chrome://apps/, which you need to remove manually before typing your search query. Thus makes it unusable, removed within a minute of use.

The latest Chrome version broke the highlighting of the chrome://apps.

I added to my new chromebook and it is not working at all. When I click on it, it says "This site can't be reached".

Why does it need to view my browsing history? Can we not have any privacy without every extension reading our data?

the apps would show in grey rather than color and they show as generic cubes rather than their usual icon shape.

Only has apps. Doesn't have recent and most visited sections. False advertising:: Your picture included most visited and recent sections.
