Lexu Assistent enhances likumi.lv with tools for efficient legal research. It allows you to compare different versions (redakcijas) of laws and regulations, review amendments provision by provision, and quickly access relevant court rulings in Lexu. ➤ Key features • Compare two different versions of a law or regulation to identify legislative amendments. • Examine amendments at the level of an individual provision, without reviewing the full text. • Navigate to relevant court rulings in Lexu research platform that cite the selected provision or its sub-sections. • Use all functions directly inside likumi.lv, in a familiar user interface. ➤ How it works • Open a law or regulation on likumi.lv. • Click "Salīdzināt redakcijas" to review changes between two chosen versions. • Use the same button next to a provision to display changes affecting that provision. • Click "Meklēt nolēmumos" to view court rulings where the provision is referenced. ➤ Who it’s for • Lawyers and in-house counsel • Compliance professionals and public sector experts • Academics and students
