Shade Dark Mode

1 mode is insufficient

Unfortunately, this app's performance is highly unstable, requiring frequent page refreshes to enable dark mode. It's a faff, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Doesn't work on aliexpress.com or aliexpress.us.

Not good. Weak and failed on multiple sites

Not better than "Dark Mode Chrome" or "Dark Mode for Chrome": missing many critical features, has almost no features.

Seems to black out videos on non You Tube sites.

It's great when it works, but frequently pages load without being turned to dark mode. It usually works if I just refresh a couple times or turn the extension off and on again. The dark mode is great, better than other similar extensions, but using it is a pain because of how often it doesn't work. I'm using Brave Browser, so I don't know if that makes a difference. Edit: I've been trying all the other dark mode extensions, and none of them are as good as this one. Please fix it!

some videos on websites (html?) are unwatchable, meaning there's no video (black window), only audio.

Works well in some sites but gets very confused in others: big black boxes, black text on black, etc

Inconsistently works on pages; you can have dark mode on, but when you click through to a new article on a newspaper, it won't be in dark mode until your refresh your browser. Also, subtitles underneath headlines are often invisible with black text on black background.

Works well WHEN it works. For some ungodly reason I have to disable and enable it every darn time I visit some page. It is like it resets. Come on, add some options like ALWAYS on, on all pages that are not on the black list. Also how on earth can I remove sites from a blacklist? Is there some option I am missing? I want to see the list of sites I put on black list, not manually visit each one and remove it. These are basic needs.

I found it had timing issues that often lead to the screen suddenly turning white when clicking a link. Or when opening a menu on a website that would turn white ruining the effect I wanted. In the end I was forced to look for something else. I believe the issues could be fixed if the author has the time and inclination but for now it's not for me.
