Amazing product, but be careful — they try to scam you by not clearly disclosing that it’s an automatic weekly payment at the time of purchase. They also refuse to cancel the subscription even after being contacted. I had to go through my credit card company to block the charges.

I want to cancel the subscription. But there is no way to do that

The extension works, but it offers frankly unreasonable pricing for what is essentially a vibecoded fork of MassiveMark, where $10 lets you convert 1 GB of Markdown into PDF/DOC. Markdown for MassiveMark can be pulled directly from the main NotebookLM chat via the Copy button (it won’t work from Notes, but you can ask the chat to fully quote the note). That’s three actions instead of one. I must admit the PDF formatting quality of the extension is good (fonts, spacing, narrow margins). But I didn’t test complex math functions or tables within the three free exports. The developer also seems unable to settle on a subscription price - different users report different prices. Decide for yourself whether the convenience of a single feature is worth $30 per year (the current price). Finally, the extension requests permission to view and modify your data on all websites and to manage downloaded files. Do you really want to grant such permissions to an extension from an unknown developer? Especially when those permissions are not justified by the stated functionality (why would the extension need access to anything beyond NotebookLM and Google domains?)

As I see the inscription of the button is not "Convert to pdf or "Export to pdf" but simply "Export", and when I press it it offers "csv or json" How can I save really in pdf?

Deserves no star at all. it gives you only 3 free export and then ask for a lot of money.

I strongly advise against installing this. Here is my experience: 1. Quick Paywall: You hit a limit almost immediately and are forced to pay. 2. It doesn't work: I paid for the full version, but the PDF conversion still doesn't work. 3. No Support: I emailed the developer twice regarding the issue. No reply. I was ghosted. 4. Shady Pricing: When I bought the "Lifetime" deal, it was around $80. Just a few weeks later, the price dropped to $39. I know developers can adjust prices, but a 50% drop weeks later makes me feel completely ripped off. In short: I paid a premium price for a broken product and get ignored by support.

Doesn't work

I'm having a horrible experience with this extension. After clicking the Export button, there a opens up a new tab named Untitled and shows the msg - "NotebookLM to PDF" started debugging this browser. That's all. I've waited for minutes and tried multiple times but there's no download happening.

This is horribly deceptive. What it allows you to do is export exactly three times. Then up comes a dialogue that demands 5 dollars A WEEK to continue using it. Or, if you'd like to send the developer two-and-a-half dollars times 52 weeks for an entire year at once, they'll cut the price in half. Total: well over a hundred dollars. More than that, the price options are deceptively phrased so that it is not completely clear what you would be doing if you signed up for that 'lower' price. I had to look twice. It's presented in a way that looks like you get the entire year for two and a half dollars. You don't. I wouldn't trust anything from a developer who acts like this.

Kept giving errors. When it did finally "work", the PDF it produced only had a heading and no actual content.

Nice idea and attractively implemented. However, it did not export all of my conversation with NotebookLM, leaving many pages out of the final export. Also, I did not know that we are only able to export thrice before the pay wall comes up.

This would be the greatest thing ever for this tool, 5 out of 5 stars, but there seems to be an issue with my account and payment. I purchased this on 10/25, was able to export like normal once, but now I am still redirected to the payment screen consistently, and that there appears to be a new Merchant of Record and price change? Please explain, I am very confused as to what has changed? Thank you

Thanks for your effort but I find the extension is far from completed. Some quick comments: - While the extension allows users to select multiple notes, it actually only exports the first note among them rather than processing all notes and exporting to a compressed file. - Regarding the one exported note, it is named after the entire notebook, not the individual note. Not useful to identify which is which. - I opened the generated Markdown file and noticed that the formatting was not quite good, with multiple formating errors. This extension still needs further improvement.

I paid up front for the monthly subscription ($29.88) and within four days the app says I've hit the 3 free export limit and is redirecting me to purchase again. Not pleased about this at all, but I will assume this is not your intention and that you have a bug to work out. This requires your immediate attention. That said, when it works, it works great.

Good tool but be warned that there is no unsubscribing option after you choose to subscribe. Prompt reply to emails though For future users like me who freaked out: To unsubscribe, you need to go to their payment provider Dodo Payments. Visit https://customer.dodopayments.com/ Input the email you entered when making the payment. Use the link they emailed you to cancel your subscription.

While this does work well, I was totally surprised by the 3 export limit and paywall. Even looking again at the Chrome Store page, there is nothing I can see about payment. I'm not against paying for quality plugins. But, I feel a little dupped. Do you really need this to be an ongoing subscription? I hope the developer will hear this with the friendliness with which it is intended, I think you would do better with a "tip jar" for a project like this. This plugin does a very simple task; it does it well, but it is very simple. It allows us to export content while preserving the look. This is something that could be done with copy / paste, although this plugin does make it more convenient. And that convenience is worth something, but not worth a subscription. I know that 99% of users would never tip, but that just shows that most people are going to uninstall as soon as the paywall pops up. I think you are building more bad will than trust. If the popup said "Hey, I work really hard on these plugins and I'd love it if you throw a tip my way. Would you mind to give me a rating in the store and tell your friends? Thanks!" I think you would get a lot more customers spreading your work. As it stands now, you are more likely to get bad ratings. Just a thought! I wish you success with future projects!

Previously, everything worked perfectly, but now the export button does not work on reports; it remains greyed out. On other formats, it offers to export csv and json, and exports what was previously exported with the name of the new file. Please tell me how this can be fixed.

would be better if less expensive and can be purchased through google not directly.
