Chrome Notes

It was okay, kept changing the background, font size, and reading pane on me and the last straw was it deleted all my notes I've been storing. Luckily I backed it up last week but I lost a weeks worth of notes/work. Unacceptable and will be uninstalling.

All my notes suddenly disappeared! Before that, I could only access my old notes unless i make a new one every time. Very annoying!!!

With the new update, all notes have been lost—two years of important information and records seemingly vanished into the abyss.

Good but WE NEED A POP-UP THAT SAYS 'ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DELETE' BECAUSE I ACCIDENTALLY CLICKED THE DELETE BUTTON ON MY NOTES. AND NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT MY NOTES ARE FOR MY EXAM

Speech to text is not working. And seems like they're not going to fix it.

The animated pencil is incredibly annoying and serves no purpose, taking up a huge portion of the screen. There is no way to turn it off. Useless feature that distracts, makes the browser look like a child's cartoon, and adds no functionality. Uninstalled.

No auto save feature all the data typed will be cleared if the notes went out of screen.

Have been using it for a while, and it all were good. But suddenly, when I relaunched my Chrome, the entire data was lost!

This has been a very handy tool, but all of a sudden, all my notes have disappeared! Why? I have absolutely no idea. Can I get them back? I have absolutely no idea. Have I lost trust in the tool? At the moment, sadly yes. Very frustrating.

This has many functions that makes it look very good. But there are three very BIG flaws. (1) FLOAT. Allow the pop-up window to be moved/float. Right now, it just opens up center screen and blocks whatever webpage you might be wanting to refer to behind it. (2) DISAPPEARS. Prevent it from disappearing every time you click on something else on the screen. This prevents one from doing "drag 'n' drop", PLUS even prevents the ALT-Tab window switch function from working. (3) DATA LOSS. I haven't experienced this personally, but I haven't used the app hardly at all. But I have read many reviews discussing this. And losing all your work unexpectedly, time and again, is a monstrous-size fail. An app that does this should really be rated zero stars. ( i still gave it two stars though because I haven't experienced this problem.) So for now, I'm sticking with a chrome extension note taking app called "Make Notes". It doesn't have any of these three terrible flaws.

The extension pop-up keeps shrinking the more text I add to it (and it's not that much text). Very frustrating. I will update my rating if/when this gets fixed.

It was 5/5 stars for me a week ago. All of a sudden the size of my notes window has shrunk and I do not know how to fix. Would change to 5 stars but it's now not a viable option for me to use for notes

I am very disapointed I used it to study half the chapter i got it stored on chrome notes and eventually my gmail signed out of chrome and when I logged in again I can't find my notes its blank !!! any updates ? where does it store it ? how can I retrevie my notes ?

ok but something happened and now every time i open the extension it opens to a really small window of a blank note showing none of my other recent notes on the side panel, but then i press add new note and they all come back? help what is going on its really annoying me

my only gripe is the lack of contrast. the text is not fully black. i am visually impaired and struggle to see gray/lighter-color text, regardless of the background color. faded text is troubling for someone like me. other than that, great little extension, but will be sticking to chrome's Notepad extension.

Am not sure what is that speech to text doing. Evety time I click on it it pops up 'Recording stopped" and not doing anything else...

simple and easy to use, but would love to see the option of being able to move the note window vs it being 'stuck' to the upper right corner of my screen! ;( Would also like to see the option to change font as well as font size. Still haven't found a legitimate replacement for Quick-Notes unfortunately! That was the 'Chef's Kiss' when it came to note app for Chrome! :)

I was glad to see a thought of mine to make my work easier was existing already. However please work on the Pop out, please make it floating, and option for it not to disappear at every click on the browser. Well done guys

The software functions as intended. However, to enhance its utility, two additional features could be incorporated: 1. An automated backup or synchronization with a Google account 2. An option to add a personal AI key (such as Gemini or ChatGPT)

Good Simple Extension but The is not sync with my account When I open it in another laptop the data doesn't show

The notes were not saved on another device using the same google account despite its claims that notes are stored automatically across all devices. Disappointed.

I love how I can take down notes with this during lectures, but I ABSOLUTELY HATE how sometimes, my notes aren't saved when I click away so they disappear. PLEASE add somewhere we can see the save status, like in Google Docs. It's very frustrating when my notes from a whole lecture are gone.
