I didn't use it because it is asking for permission to access all my google drive files and download them????!!!

They want permission to see and download all of your google drive files. No way!

Why would this app need to "See and download all [my] Google Drive files"? I cannot possibly allow that, it would be a major breach of my data protection responsibilities. I have client-confidential files on my Google Drive, and I'd be breaking the law if I allowed a third-party access to them. Which is a shame, because up until that moment, this looked like a good solution. Uninstalled.

Rafael, doesn't work now, Google Sign On doesn't authorize it. Is that something you can solve easily?

As some people pointed out already, this app first asks you for some permissions to read and manage files it doesn't need in order to fulfill the purpose in the description. If you press cancel, then you're redirected to a page that asks for less permissions. And this does not only happen when you install the plugin but also when you open links with it which means that you are likely to accidentally press Accept at some point. Looks very dubious. I wouldn't install this unless you have a reason to trust these guys with access to all your files.

Just gives me an error code instead of creating a link...

After installed, and created 2 links then not working

Doesn't seem to work. I have attempted to install it but the application keeps asking for permissions to open the file (share with Google Drive, etc.). Even though a allow it to proceed the program won't create a link to the site.

Error prone. Also asks for more permissions than it should be entitled to (access to all your gdrive files), when you click "cancel" it redirects you to a more reasonable set of permissions (see your email address and profile picture)... what the heck, so the developer doesn't actually need all those privileges?

Permissions requested seem excessive for what this does. Since it is coming from an independent/individual developer, it's not a good idea to trust this add-on with such a wide permission scheme.

This is a potentially AMAZING app - BUT gLinks is now non-functional/broken... PLEASE - Someone update this needed app and convert it to a proper 'Drive App' !!!

It asks for a lot of permission, including looking at your Google Drive!?! I was able to save the link as a file (with a url extension). But when I went to open it, I could only download the URL and then open it on my computer! You would think at least on Chrome, you should be able to drag and drop a URL into your Google Drive. It may be a security issue that Google doesn't allow it!
