Been playing for over 3 years, but now can't play because of a slow down due to excessive ads.

The program gets its perfect rolls just when it needs them...SO FRUSTRATING If you want to get frustrated play this game..otherwise Forget it

Agree with others. Last game, i had 3 left, game had 4. You guessed it, game rolled doubles to win...

LOVE BACKGAMMON,however, playing as an "EXPERT" on this site is BORING". The site's dice are heavily weighted & always in their favor. The site consistently enjoys rolls of doubles, and rolls of extreme perfection. These rolls defy lady luck. In fact no player could be this lucky. The game lacks the thrill, the rolls of the dice swing one-direction. Yet 24-7's site is programmed to lose. The site does not manage the board, nor employ good strategy, for setting up as well the roll off. If desired, 24-7 could have developed a site that could never be beaten.

poorly designed and very baic playing strategies. Not much knowledge of the game. Destned to beginers. "Expert" level is pathetic!

Awful game. I always run a test of thousands of games on the online backgammon and there is definitely a problem with this application. 20,000 games completed and the computer has almost 40% 6's thrown and under 4% 1's thrown. I had a friend who works as statistician (Ph.D in maths and has worked for over 20 years as a statistician) to look at the data and run tests. He said that you'd have to millions of players playing for millions of years to get those sorts of percentages. Sorry but you need to look at your RNG and how you use it to generate the dice throws. A pity as nice graphics and smooth game play but the biased throws mean I will look elsewhere for my online backgammon.

I have been playing for 32 years. It is impossible to get a few doubles in a game but to get 3, 4 in a row and 6 times a game, impossible. It is impossible to get the opponent to roll the dice every time they need a number. Not once in awhile but unusual for them NOT TOO. Rigged, false, impossible, just plain ole ridiculous.

The computer cheats outrageously. Totally unplayable piece of junk. The aggressive advertisements slow the graphics down! POS

Absolute Garbage! The computer ALWAYS gives itself the doubles and ALWAYS wins. I have one tile to move in and that is on the one spot, the computer has 4 tiles in the 5 and 6 spots and it just happens to roll a double 6 .. this happens more often than not. I hardly get doubles while the computer gets 5 minimum per game. Rubbish!

you can beat it, but its amazing how many doubles the computer gets and the right roll.

This game is poorly programmed, there are stupid plays on the computor leaving itself exposed, then it goes on a "Golden Run" where every game is perfect for the computor, it takes the skill out of the game

What a piece of crap. How many doubles can one get? answer 10 out of 12 rolls. 4 rolls were 6's. When it wants to cheat, it does it too obviously. And what is this with the first die a 1 and any other number. You get cheated on the move and loose one pip. I have not found anything better, but this is crap!!!

As another player wrote - IT CHEATS! The use of the doubling cube is a joke. It offers a double from a poor position it accepts doubles when it is absolutely guaranteed to lose.It varies between overcautious and foolhardy. Whoever wrote this program must be a very weak player or a mediocre programmer or both. Actually the graphics are quite reasonable - it is just a pity the game is nowhere near the same standard. I will just have to keep searching for a much more challenging website

computer cheats when in the expert mode

CHEAT COMPUTER ALWAYS gets roll it needs.

I needed 2 & 1 to win the program used both the 1 & 6 to move one counter, I thus lost as it threw double 6

The cube action is that of a rank beginner. Overall game too easy.

beaten it and every other backgammon programme! This isnt even real backgammon! the Real rules are the Old English rules, if the bar doesn't fit more than 5 pieces why is the board built this way? Stacking is a wankers game Have played all over and middle east in early 80's Played some dam good cheats ,but all games were no stacking. I Personally think this ruins an excellent game. The computer cheats to win,it only lets you move the way the dice are rolled but it moves anyway it wants. If you roll a 6 and a 2 it makes you use the six first then the two that is cheating

Been playing backgammon for years and I have never won one game here. Never seen a game so rigged against a player. No way the computer can continually roll die against the player.

This is got to be the worst backgammon program I have ever played. It's like playing with an idiot even on expert. It never turns down a cube or doubles at every possibility even when it loses on the next role. I cannot even begin to imagine the level of those players griping about cheating, so maybe it is just right for this audience.

GAME CHEATS = the rolls are fixed to produce very controlled outcomes. So its just not fun. Its clear the dice are not random. So you are at the mercy of the pseudo- AI whether you are to win or not. The fixed rolls get in the way of normal game play in favor of super low odds outcomes. No fun at all. No skill. No true influence on game outcomes - at the mercy of the game tilling dice rolls. Your move matter not o much. So its no fun; what is the point?

The game cheats like hell. So many times at the end it will roll doubles, almost reliably. No way it is random rolls. Predictable. Makes my blood pressure rise.

in 20 games on "expert" the computer has won just TWO!!! a complete waste of data, if it mattered, but more importantly, of my time... bye

There are 2 major solitaire/mahjong/card game studios on the chrome game store: TreeCardGames and Battleline Studios LLC. They're both cloning solitaire and other card games literally hundreds of times, littering the chrome app store with trashy, oversaturated card games. Why do they do this? revenue. not to produce quality games, but to earn revenue with little effort. Basically, just look up solitaire or whatever on google and check out the first few results instead of installing a game that needs a login or is ad-riddled.

The programmers inability to use a random generator is breathtaking. The programmer has different criteria at the end of a game depending if you are the player or the "computer". Statistically laughable. NK

EXPERT VERSION of game is fixed..... if you are ahead computer rolls better numbers and the computer rarely allows for a skunk - as the other guy said..... multiple high rolls of double 6's and 5's to ensure no skunk occurs... I still win many of the games, but its more annoying than anything else.... a regular flow would make this more fun
