Sorry to remind you, Bill, but your amazing app no longer works on Chromebooks :( After July 2025, it stopped working...

Voice chat wouldn't work and kept crashing when entering a voice channel though that might discord's fault.

When i put in my username and password, it would just make me put my info in over and over again, i even tried using me email, that didnt work either, i made sure it was all typed in right, but it just didnt work

No push notifications in background. Far better to just use the create shortcut button, specially since the "please install this app" nag goes away in chrome os.

It won't let me delete it off my chromebook

Just a copy/paste of the web edition, i wanted the Desktop addition, i wish the people that ran these kinds of stores would keep the spam/fake apps away because its not the real Discord Desktop edition, its the webview in a separate tab

It won't show a popup. It won't allow me to unmute myself nor show the camera. A popup NEVER showed to let me allow camera and microphone and stuff.

Everything works except Vencord, could not enjoy it as much as getting a shortcut from discord.com

It stays on a loading screen forever and never loads i even logged out all the way and shut my whole chromebook down idk why its doing that but can somebody please help me because i need to use discord

I will give it 2 stars for pity. Its just the discord tab and I cant access the desktops features. not very useful for Chromebook users. Not recommended

This is literally just the web discord in a fancy window.i downloaded this so that i could use the app features.

Have been using this client for about a year now with no issues until the last day of February, where I have now lost all sound. I checked all my sound options, uninstalled and reinstalled the application, and restarted my Chromebook a few times with little to no avail. I maybe get sound for about an hour before it all cuts again. I noticed someone else with the same issue. Please fix! (Side note, this client is very nice and helpful and runs very smooth. I'd be willing to change my 3 Star to a 5 when this recent issue is fixed <3)

I like discord Desktop but there is a problem, My sounds are not playing right like they should. NO sound for joining calls or notifications are popping up, before they were fine now none of them are playing. I've deleted it and downloaded it, my volume is up and I reset my laptop. There is something wrong with it. Please help me with this.

Its a great app but every time I sign off or restart/power on my laptop it logs me out of my account and I have to log in over and over again. The only reason I installed this unofficial app was so I'd have a smoother experience on Chromebook OS and this definitely allows for that smoother performance I want. Mostly because the browser version lags behind a lot every time I leave it running in the background doing other stuff.

I'm not sure if it's just taking forever to load, or if it's broken. It may just be because I have 2fa but nothing is loading? This is odd

It works decently well. Though it does not show the red circle badge at all. Is there any way to activate it or am I just doing something wrong?

it was really good but today it just randomly stopped working?? it wouldnt let me send meassages so i logged out thinking it was a small problem and now it wont even let me log back in at all?? everytime i press enter it doesnt log in and i tried the qr code login and that didnt work either

i love this but my only issue is not allowing notifications because i don't know when people message me i personally find that inconvenient

It was OK, it's just like Discord but every time I launch it I have to log in

this is great for me to keep in touch with my friends and stuff all tho last sunday the app just stooped working it allows me to log in but it stays on its loading screen and never comes on so pls fix that but other than that issue i love the app!

It wasnt the best, the browser version of discord is wayyy better than this one. How do i uninstall it cuz its not working :/

It's almost a complete copy of the Discord app, it's pretty good. However, it never keeps me logged in and having to sign into my Discord account everytime I open this is super annoying, so I had to uninstall it and find an alternative.

Worked great for voice chatting up until last week. Microphone input is not being detected despite being able to hear myself when I check it, and I'm unable to unmute myself. Reset all the settings, even powerwashed my Chromebook just in case to no avail. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon, unless it's something on my end. Oh well.

Its just the web browser but runs as an app, its cleaner and smoother but not the desktop app

If you guys want discord desktop just search discord in your web and save it as a shortcut to your chrombook.

Just an app wrapper for discordapp.com web version. Strangely, its less functional than the regular web app on my chromebook, because URLs will not open, at all. Not with a click, or a double click, and there's no right click context menu. Weird. Maddening. Uninstalled after 10 minutes.

the app is great but i really have a problem that i cant use vc im trying to play a game and talk but cant do that :/
