Due to unity-webplayer to be installed, not possible to play on chromebook. This sucks cause the chromebook is computing ten leaps ahaed.

The addon u need for the game (unity web player) Does not support chrome... kinda bad when u use ... chrome

Linux users take note --- BSGO's presence in the Chrome store does NOT mean it will work on your Linux machine. It still requires the Unity web player, and Unity still says it will not make a Linux version of the Web Player. And nowhere does Syfy, Google or anyone associated with the game tell you that until AFTER they have your registration info.

I've been playing this game off and on since closed beta. The development team is horrible and introduce new bugs all of the time and rarely think about mechanics they mess around with and how it effects game play. The content has changed very little over the last two years (you could easily say not at all if you don't count the items added that cost real money). The game is two-faction PVP and horribly one sided so it gets boring very quickly. Their development team has extremely high turn-over so you know Big Point doesn't do a very good job with treating their employees well - and the game reflects this; half baked ideas implemented. Little to no support (or even concern for that matter). They've been promising for 2 years a ton of features that aren't tied to actually making a buck but would make the game play more enjoyable. However, it never fails that they only add a new way for you to spend real cash in the game. As many people have mentioned, this game could be hugely popular and it's got the brand following to support it. However BP is only concerned with turning a dollar out of the users and that's about it.

As stated in other reviews I purchased cubits and then was locked out of my account. The transaction processed but I didn't receive the cubits in game. I contacted support, they closed the ticket and indicated my account had been credited. Then I couldn't log in. Password reset failed, so I contacted support, again. After answering some question to support I still haven't heard back after 3 weeks. While I doubt they deleted my account rather than give me my stuff I suspect that I'm suffering from some bug they'd rather just ignore - either way I'm unimpressed.

It had a chance to be a great game, but ... Control scheme ruined it ... its not arcade-like (freelancer style) nor sim like (EOC et all style) -- its some @#!#!@$ halfbrained 2.5D system. Space combat sim with that type of controls ... NO WAY. No joystick support ... WTF!?!? RCS fail ... its BSG for the ... sake!! Inertial flying was cornerstone of the combat there ... noooo we have *airplanes* with fixed axis in *space* ... epic fail!

There is zero support and this is no more than a scam to get your money. The game is unplayable and not supported in any way. There is no way to get a response for technical support or password retrieval or location of your in game purchases. They just do not care in the slightest. Any time spent playing this game will prove to be 100% wasted time, as your account information can and will disappear without warning the first time you spend any real money on this game for in game credits. And as usual, you cannot level up without spending lots of money on this game. It would be OK if they weren't bald face ripping you off -- they're not even trying to pretend otherwise. If you forget your password you are screwed. They will simply never respond to any phone call or email. I have filed a better business bureau complaint and am having my credit union reverse the charges for in-game curreny that I bought. Literally, zero support. Othewise, the game locks up a lot unless you have a state of the art cutting edge video card, and unlimited bandwidth. It's such a shame that a complete lack of integrity and not even basic tech support ( like password recovery) from the creators has ruined what might be a good game. Such a shame and a waste of time. Don't waste your time. These people are only in it to scam you out of money to buy upgrades and in-game currency, with zero commitment or intention of even bothering to keep the game online.
