META SEO inspector

several months ago, i used this and i didnot have any problems. but now, this extension doesnot work on my system. would you please help me?

I have installed this and now get very frequent unwanted pop up windows opening in my Bowser, acting like a virus. This is an absolute no go for me, just don't do that.

DO NOT INSTALL IT. On daily basis you will see their website is auto open, and they are doing it just for to get impression and earn money from Google Adsense.

Even I turned off the update option, it continues to display annoying ads super annoying cpmpared with any other hundreds of extensions on the earth. Then you should make it possible to disable it just by one click on the ads page. Also you should articulate the option difference between chrome-extension://ibkclpciafdglkjkcibmohobjkcfkaef/views/options.html and the one you mention.

I am using meta seo inspector for 3 to 4 years as my daily tool for analyzing meta tags and heading structure and it was working perfectly. All of a sudden I opened and it just keep loading, when clicked on seo check and other tabs it show data but not entire data on opening. Tried reinstalling extension cleared chrome cache etc but nothing helps. *now i am forced to use detailed seo extension

Too Many advertisement even when not using tool.

WARNING THIS IS MALWARE! this opens up a new tab in your browser and effectively is a popup scheme advertising.

This app is useful but PLEASE STOP OPENING CHANGELOG AUTOMATICALLY WHEN YOU MAKE AN UPDATE! It's way too intrusive. I'll happily give 5 stars when this behavior'll have changed.

This extension need to STOP opening a tab every time it is updated. I can´t turn it off and it just keep opening tabs whenever theres an update or something. It is incredibly irritating. Until this is fixed or I find instructions how to turn it off, I will provide a low rating. Im a developer so I know stuff. :)

I have been a web developer for 19 years. I can't figure out how to use this extension. Like, I use Lighthouse. That is easy, open developer tools, and there is a tab right there, 'Lighthouse'. Easy peasy. This extension? I have no idea. Because there is zero documentation. Zero! How about a 'Getting Starting' or 'How to Use' section in the Overview section. Honestly, if I am an idiot and just overlooked it, I will happily change my review to 5 stars. I have looked for 15 minutes, then just decided to write a review rather than look any longer.

Every time I open Chrome this developer is opening a new tab and begging me for a donation or coffee. I already donated. This is awful UX, you ruin Chrome.

Keeps opening its tab randomly like some sort of adware asking me to install something via the Chrome store.

Great except for the fact it updates what seems like every day and you have to close the tab. If every plugin was like this one you'd close 15 tabs a day. Stop creating a tab every time you update and it would be great.

Launching tabs in my browser is a lame move guys, knock it off... it's a super-annoying and pathetically desperate marketing tactic that just isn't necessary. It kills your credibility and is a perfect reason to remove it when there are many other excellent good tools that don't do that.

VERY intrusive and no longer works. This is a disaster. I am uninstalling. VERY INTRUSIVE popup with every update, does not provide accurate information, just a Big Fat Mess. Find another extension that works.

Not working properly. This plugin is unable to show a popup with information that stick on the screen. It often flashes the info and looses it immediately. And even if it does satay visible sometimes, when you click elsewhere on the screen, the information goes away.

In 2.0.0 version no more fixed overlay window. Click to open info for every page is terrible.

this extension shows the secure pages which have Comodo Certificates, as unsecure. After I remove the extension it begins to show the pages secure.

Works for what it needs to do. If you need quick and easy access to meta tags, this will do the job. However, it is overly aggressive with its change log notices. About once a week, I open Chrome only to have this extension bring up its news page in a separate tab, interrupting what I was trying to do. The extension has an option to disable this, but the option does not appear to work. I'm not entirely sure why this extension needs to be updated so frequently or what warrants such an aggressive change log.

Hi , I do not know how to contact you (Developer), but this tool is confusing. It says about all my <h1> Tags "DIE INFO: Der Inhalt scheint ausgeblendet zu sein (The information: The content seems to be hidden). But nothing is hidden. What does that mean?

It looks like the update notification is annoying a lot of people! I disabled it on the options, and it keep showing up randomly

I like that tool but will delete asap i get again a stupid popup with ads. I hate ads!! And the useless Function "Hide changelog on update" seems to get reset each time on update. I turned that off, so often. woah!! Full screen full of ads if you restart chrome and there was an update of this tool.... Not good. Just delete that function "Hide changelog on update" if its not working !! man ey

Not the best. I followed it's instruction to improve my SEO and it actually killed my site design. Luckily I always make backups otherwise my site would have been ruined! It's probably the fault of my template but unfortunately, I've lost all trust in this plugin now as it should warn you that any changes may cause issues with yuor site. Every other SEO plugin I've used has been fine so far apart from this one.

This extension has addware integrated. It spontaneuously opens a webpage containing adverstisements.

Used to be a very decent, helpful tool. Annoying pop-ups and console debug messages made it unusable for me.

I used to like, and use, this extension. However, in the latest version it causes me me to be unable to scroll through some pages and also it prevents me from clicking on buttons on some pages.

does not show og-tags if you define them properly with `<meta property="og:image" content="https://...." />` only shows them if you define them WRONG with `<meta name="og:image" content="https://...." />` dangerous!

Recently, the the extension does not work well. When I click on it, there's a 10 second delay before the info pops up.

Nice tool. I like it. But what I really don't like, that it is using to much memory :-(

The tool itself is decent and serves its purpose, but the automatic opening of a new looking for donations tab—especially after submitting forms on websites—has become increasingly disruptive. This behavior has noticeably increased in recent months and often gives the impression that the site has been hijacked, which can be alarming, particularly when presenting to clients. It’s a poor user experience that undermines trust and needs to be addressed.

Good plugin, but stop spamming the update notifications. I guess there's an option to turn it off, but no one cares. Stop.

It works very well and I use all the time. The only reason I give it 3 out of 5 is because it open a window with changelog VERY often. I have disabled it more than 15 times and it keeps enabling itself. If that is fixed I will change it to 5 stars. Recommended 100%

This extension is useful, I use it while developing my own sites and critique of competitors. BUT it is super annoying how it opens a new web page EVERY TIME IT UPDATES (which is often, to their credit). There has to be a way to stop this from happening if I don't want to be obnoxiously interrupted with an uninvited tab opening up to flex about every minor bug fix and improvement. I'll change my review to 5 stars when that happens.

The latest version is causing many tabs to become unresponsive with my chrome. I have tested disabling all extensions and only this.. There are many sites, around 1 in 10 that just become unclickable, cannot select text or click any links, cannot click scrollbar. The chrome tab becomes unresponsive. I'm forced to disable this extension until it is fixed.

The tool is not aware that the HTML5 doctype declaration is NOT case sensitive...

I miss some information, for example the robots meta-tag, if the page is set to noindex in the robots tag, you will not notice it with this tool.

Would be better if it displayed the value of rich snippets.

Good but doesn't recognise a html5 doctype if it isn't on the first line of code.
