Stopped working now.
Unfortunately it does not work with latest chrome
Not working in latest chrome, but previously it was very good.
The add-on "works" in that it does add a text field with estimated net revenue onto a game's Steam page, but after comparing the add-on's estimated revenue figures against 20+ titles' actual net sales, I can say that the estimated numbers are not reliable or accurate -- you'll get numbers that range from *at least* twice as low to twice as high as actual net. The Boxleiter method this is based on is effectively outdated at this point, but that's another story.
The idea is great, but it doesn't seem to work. No Steam page shows the price for me with this extension installed.
it works on some pages and some other don't. Also, I had to deactivate the extension two times for it to work. I guess it's something from the backend of the app.
This has worked on and off for the last 6 months. Currently not working. Despite the devs response below saying they fixed it, it still estimates my games as 3x less than what they actually earned. My dev friends have found similar results too. We're indies so perhaps it's much more volatile. For me, a good guess of revenue is usually: Average sale price on steamDB in $ * total reviews * 50. But see also: "how-to-accurately-estimate-steam-sales" by gamalytic. There's another steam revenue estimator chrome plugin on here that's much less pretty, but works more consistently. It also has a much more accurate estimate of the price. When this works, it's nice to see, but unfortunately it's not that reliable.
This is a great tool to get a rough estimate quickly. I am very happy with this add-on, but unfortunately it does not work on my PC. On my laptop it works fine and I don't know why. I use the same browser with the same account, but yes, I am at a loss. If someone can help me, I would update my rating.
