ZoomInfo Chrome Extension

Genuinely the worst most frustrating extension and sign-in experience. I'm tired.

Version 11.39.0 introduced a major functional regression when creating a contact in CRM from LinkedIn. You can no longer use the checkboxes to select or deselect which contact or company fields you want to sync. That was an essential feature, and removing or breaking it is a significant step backward. Being able to control exactly which fields are synced is critical. I hope this is fixed quickly, because this change has a serious negative impact on usability.

Echoing the reviews below. The extension is very hard to work with, and leads to endless looping. I had the looping problem also. That said, after tracking down a customer support analyst (that wasn't easy either), we scheduled a call where she tried her best to fix it. After the call, and after reviewing with her technical team, they identified that the Chrome Extension requires third-party cookies to be enabled in your browser settings, and there are no workarounds at the moment for this requirement - the extension will not function properly without allowing all third-party cookies. I recommend emailing helpmenow@zoominfo.com for support on this.

Can no longer log in to the Chrome extension, faced with an endless login loop on a new computer. Tried clearing cache/cookies, uninstalling/re-installing. Nothing works.

to summarize what everyone else is saying-- it doesn't work. Honestly shocked by how Zoominfo has managed to gather a 4 star rating on this chrome extension... I invite anyone to just scroll down these reviews. Overall fan of ZI but this feature simply sucks

Nice idea in theory, but basically unusable. More often than not it goes into a login loop. I've had endless issues with the Brave browser and Google Chrome isn't much better (although it kind of works, sometimes)

The extension is incredibly buggy and often fails.

Not logging in anymore from LI, tried everything for Chrome, tried installing Vivaldi.. terrible!! Working with support but they seem to have tried everything they know. My login only works in Firefox but can't use this extension there.

Constant problems, never loading at full capacity.

Loading takes forever. If you ever try to pull in contacts from LinkedIn SalesNav into Salesforce, it lags and stops working or it only brings in half of the contacts. Overall trash extention.

Loads and loads and loads. Only works 15% of the time even with all the trouble shooting.

Extension was working fine then suddenly can't use it on LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Did all troubleshooting steps and nothing works. Please fix this!

where did it go? it was great for an hour until it stopped appearing on the side. it disappeared and now I can't use it.

Worst extension, never works!

I love ZoomInfo and the extension is great WHEN it wants to work. The problem is that it so often will just go in circles and not accurately work. I'm hopeful when the updates come however, it seems that every update just makes it worse. It will load, just to give a blank screen.

This extension has become unusable. It continually shows "No candidates found." Serious problem considering how much more time intensive it is to find candidates on the TalentOS website. Worked great a year ago...

more often than not it does not work. It shows no candidates found. Every update is worse than prior one. Their help and support is not very good either.

Each update is making the extension worse.

Places an icon and a drop shadow on every page when you print. I don't know if this is intentional or just terrible software development.

Tried everything and still does not work. Cleared cache and my Chrome was updated but to no avail. This was a pretty good extension.......was being the key word!

TERRIBLE company. I have spent thousands of dollars and have gotten 0 return. I should have spent my money somewhere else. Beware, small businesses. I rearranged my entire day because I had a video call set up with Tyrone Ponce. He CANCELLED one minute before and told me that Andrew Conner would be "taking over my portfolio from here." Andrew called, and I asked him to send me a link so that we could reschedule that video call. He never did. All Zoom Info is doing is asking me for more money. For what? They aren't doing their job. Terrible company.

ReachOut hasn't worked for 2 days, I've uninstalled, reinstalled 10 times but nothing has changed, I'm in discussion with the technical department of zoominfo who after 4 hours of exchange by email can't find me a concrete solution, I even tried to reinstall ReachOut on another computer but nothing changes, could someone competent help?

Has an ongoing issue of working intermittently, Zoominfo's answer "Uninstall and reinstall" which does nothing. Clearly a problem that needs to be looked in to by development. Would not recommend.

Extension doesn't work most of the time, information is wildly inaccurate. Zoominfo will say an A+ contact works at Salesforce and you click the link to their Linkedin page, and the contact does not work at Salesforce and has never worked at Salesforce. How can you link to a contact to their linkedin page and then get the company they work for wrong? That is if you can get the extension to work in the first place, which like other users have stated, works maybe 1 day a week.

It keeps on refreshing and never works. I wish zominfo would have used some of the humongous amount it charges companies to fix this app!

I wish my company would abandon this tool. It's routinely too slow to be useful or doesn't load at all. If it does finally load, it's so slow you're left wondering, why would anyone pay money for this?

Dishonest and false marketing. They do not offer a free service, but will take your information, pass to aggressive sales reps to call your private number, and still not offer any free service to try.

Doesn't load just sits and spins. No login option, nothing. Too bad, the sales hype was awesome!

the worst search and extension! The info they have on most prospects is outdated by years and the extension never reloads unless you manually type in the company name. Fix this program please

Glitchy glitch

I'm sorry but ZoomInfo and this extension is very unreliable and inaccurate, definitely will continue making our own data rather than using the very inaccurate database of yours.

SCAM. Only works if you pay extra for DiscoverOrg. Was the main reason I purchased ZoomInfo

Constantly freezes and needs to be reloaded.

The idea is greatt you are on someone profile and you can quickly check for their information. But it work only 1 on 5. The tool does not load and asks for login but impossible to do

Unfortunately this extension disables Ctrl + Down Arrow, which is a hotkey combo many people use to "go to last row with data in it" in Excel or Google Sheets. Same goes with Up Arrow.

Added the new update and the plug in no longer works with Salesforce Sales Navigator. That takes away a lot of the functionality that it used to have.

This extension would be so helpful if it wasn't extremely slow. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It often provides different results then when searching on the ZoomInfo website, and now it has been not loading at all!

Logs me back in and out every 5 minutes. Not very efficient

Today is not a good day for the tool - it's exporting maybe 50% of the leads I need to Salesforce from LinkedIn and ZoomInfo.

Hi ZoomInfo team, Was having problem loading websites on chrome that started 2 weeks ago, had to troubleshoot with techsupport. They were baffled. Only just then realized it was a extension issue on Chrome, and by process of elimination found out that ZoomInfo ReachOut that was causing pages to perpetual load, even cause the internet speed test (https://www.speedtest.net/) to not function (error description: socket error occurred, A firewall could be blocking the connection). Disabled this extension and now everything is fine and running super fast. To say it was frustrating 2 weeks is an understatement.

helpful when I can get it to work though lately it's not often. It simply spins and spins on a website or linkedin page and it never comes up. This is separate from the fact that zoominfo makes you login every single time. Great in theory but pretty poor in execution.
