i hope there's a better reader in this store opens another tab everytime i touch something and sometimes ruins the file itelf

FAKE APPLICATION, BEWARE! - Cookies Opt-out is intentionally too hard (including the fake "legal" interests took me 10 minutes to opt out one-by-one - YET there is a rudely aggressive ad policy: seemingly no real option to open the e-book in the browser, but the zip-and-upload thing is also hidden among all kinds ov overrated and overadvertised services that makes you want to kill youtoube (and Google) marketing guys in general. - I was promised to be able to OPEN my e-book in the browser and not only after zipping and uploading it.

The worst Epub reader I ever downloaded

Glitchy and buggy. Chunks of text are just missing from the epub. Would not recommend this extension.

1. The reader always goes to the first page of the document when I change settings like font size, page layout, etc. I could not comfortably read documents. 2. I could not find navigation pane linking between table of contents and document bodies.

Positively do not install, you will be removing it after your first experience. It keeps loosing your book wich needs to be constantly reloaded and it is impossible to get it to display anyting more than the cover of the book you loaded.

Brought product to surface of Mars. It stopped working. 0/10.

Don't get this, you will be disappointed. It barely works and reloads after any small change (turning on dark mode, resizing, even scrolling sometimes makes it bug) and constantly returns to the top of the book with no bookmark. Trash, should remove it from the store or fix it!

Reading experience is terrible as the page settings get reset very often. scrolling the page just takes me back to first page, not to mention missing lines.

Utterly useless. When I ask it to open an epub file, it just loops back to the download.

Very inconvenient. You can't just open the file "with Chrome". You need to open the extension, go to the menu, press a bunch of buttons, find this file on your computer, and only then open it. At the same time, the extension automatically loads only a tiny piece of the book, which makes it impossible to search through the text or simply fast-forward it.

Every time I open it, it opens two of itself. No ability to change that.

This extension provided a horrible reading experience. I'm a faithful Chrome user, so I figured this extension would work great with my Chrome browser. Nope. It loaded only portions of an ezine I'm publishing, but never the ends of any of the stories (several lines were missing from the ends of each) and skipped one page completely (how can it decide to do that?!). It does not include page breaks (that I could find), so the pages all ran together untidily. Our publishing logo was blown up huge and pixelated, and the other images were grainy (so it doesn't convert images well). My co-designer pointed me to a different epub reader that worked beautifully, where every line of the zine showed up properly and the images displayed correctly. I'm removing this extension, and I won't be using the Chrome epub reader ever again.

It just didn't work. Loaded the document but I could only view the first page. Whenever I tried to go to the next page it reloaded the tab and I had to reopen the document. Not helpful in the slightest. Also the menu options did nothing/wouldn't load.

I installed this because I wanted to be able to enlarge text and use a dark mode. These work but every time I change a setting it appears the entire file reloads and goes back to the beginning of the book. Not slick at all.

Total waste. and poor performance. Avoid

Scrolling is a pain. Usability is minimal. Navigation is non-existent. Don't install.

No table of contents button, can't scroll up/down without it reloading the same pages over and over, resizing the window takes you back to page 1.

Because the app only loads small fraction of the book, it makes it impossible to search for anything and painful to scroll. Will uninstall.

It ruins HTML bullet points rendering due to an uncaught error. Would have submitted an issue if the project was hosted somewhere public but it isn't so 1 star.

Showed me only first few pages in a 256pages book. Useless extension.

I've never used something so poorly made. Constantly teleports you back tons of pages, font randomly resizes, poor use of screen space, loading new pages if extremely slow, and then it just forgets settings at random and puts you back on the horribly broken "continuous scroll" This is literally all within the first 30 seconds of using it...

Terrible app. Text gets cut off if its last in the paragraph. Don't use.

Developer of this extension has copied many popular extensions and published as his own. Shame on you.

Can't bookmark. You have to reload your book each time and then figure out which page you need to start reading. Time Killer. Calibre is too much but still better than this.

It is not very easy to scroll smoothly. When you scroll it jumps forward almost without much control.

Gives me no less than 220 characters per line. Unreadable. No clear option to format the text in any. Switching in and out of full screen mode (F11) seems to reset the extension, you jump back to the title page. Scrolling behavior is very iffy. Obtrusive annoying symbol menu always visible. Avoid.

This extension pushes spam notifications!

After uploading the file from your chromebook, the resulting text/book fills only a tiny part of the screen. This is not suited for a more dynamic reading.

It gives you a tiny window (maybe one-third of the browser) for the book and has the rest of the space for the extension name and a button to load the book that could easily have been in a compact area so that the actual book would have the space to be more readable. There also is suspiciously ratings done on the same day that are almost word for word the same rating. This extension could be a nice thing, but it is not ready for release . . .

Crashed a couple of times. Opens in two pages at once. After increasing font size, cuts end of every chapter. In short, requires improvements.

Used in Chrome Flex: The good: it opens ePub files and you can read them The bad: Buggy. Clicking on some options like changing font, opens another tab with another ePub So changing font size in a large file takes forever. Search (ctrl f) is incredibly slow and fails to find all occurrences of the search word. Navigating a long book is a pain. No even an option to jump to the top, to the content page. Scrolling a large book is very hard. Hard to grab and move the scroll tab on the right. Clicking on the review option, instead of opening another tab, overwrote the tab with the book I'm reading. ePub Reader does not display book cover, doesn't display pictures.

I can tolerate all the inonvenience that other reviews mentioned, but the fact that it cannot display parenthesis properly finally made me quit. This is a total nightmare if you read a textbook, especially when it displays v(t) as vt. Use Calibre if you can, really.

Installed but when I try to open an ePub file in Chrome it just re-downloads it and displays instructions saying I have to re-upload it to the extension to view it. Very non-intuitive. Just open it.

It's a bit flat. I can do more with Adobe free. the controls are clunky with the page turning only in one spot. Also you can't even search for a specific word. That makes it hard to use when researching.

The bottom portion of the pages were cut - - so there were lines, or even a paragraph, cut off. Frustrating.

It can work, better than nothing. but the dark mode work poorly, cant change fonts, the text just crowd together and no settings for Typography. I guess nodody what sent hours reading with it.

Does help me read. I have a corporate Chrome installation and am trying to read a book that is stored on my Google drive. Each time I changed ANYTHING like font size, the screen would go blank and I would have to re-load the book. It was easy to do, but a little incovenient. Other than that the interface was easy to use and it do perform it's main function which was to open up an epub and let me read it.

Uncomfortable interface, extension can't remember files you opened.
